I totally agree with the lavish comments about this wonderful resort, but would go even further. We were in their top room and I thought I had "died and gone to heaven". More than that however were other aspects. The staff was outstanding from check in to check out +. My wife had lost an earing twice! I know that's... More

This place is magical. The rooms are all different, and the photos online don't do them justice. The setting is remarkable, with great lighting to accent the terrain. We were told that this was the first cave hotel in the area, and that people thought the owner was crazy to build it. Now there are around 300 similar hotels. Stay... More

First and foremost: You need to stay here. What a place. Real caves ( with windows and bath tubs so you don't freak out) carved into mountains of 30 million year old volcanic "Tuff". I am not going to try to describe what this place looks like other than to say "wow". Google it. They have pictures of all of... More

This hotel is fantastic. Staff speak English very well and are friendly. The shower is amazing and after a day trekking around in caves and what not, a good shower is key. The restaurant offers good food and wine. The history of the property is like no other. The beds are super comfortable and the hotel is well kept! Compared... More

In early September this year we had the pleasure to visit Cappadocia and stayed at the unique and fantastic Gamirasu. It is a hotel with a difference - using a cave site to create the hotel. Our room was huge, with all mod cons. - very large bathroom with spa bath, lovely large and comfortable bed, easy chairs and couch... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cave hotel. Many years ago, people in the area lived in caves for religious and safety reasons. The rooms are carved out of rock but fitted with modern amenities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Most rooms were arranged with a sitting room and then a separate bedroom located up a few steps.... More

This hotel consists of rooms cut into the rock, in the style of the cave dwellings and churches of Cappadocia. Each is unique. Although we expected a normal room, we got the Eagle's Nest suite, the second biggest room in the hotel, and this may color our review. Although it's in a cave, the room is light and comfortable. Sleeping... More

My husband and I stayed at Gamirasu for part of our honeymoon. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! We had the time of our lives and can’t say enough good things about Ibrahim, Hamide, and the countless staff who helped make our stay incredibly special. Gamirasu is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have... More

The Gamirasu Hotel was exceptional and definitely the nicest hotel we stayed at during our trip to Turkey. The cave rooms provided to us were unbelievable...what an experience. The hotel manager personally greeted us and showed us around and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. In the evening we had a fabulous dinner on the terrace restaurant.... More

Very good hotel, in an authentic cave. Friendly staff, nice pool and well decorated rooms, which are also very comfortable. The village of Gamirasu has only 700 inhabitants so there's not too much to see around. In case a trip to the main town of Urgup is needed, hotel arranges free transportation. Internet works very well and the restaurant has... More
