I stayed at the Gamirasu for three nights and had a hard time leaving. Yes its a little far from Urgup, but that was a benefit. They have a free shuttle to Urgup square, which gets you there in 15 minutes. The location away from the main town added to the true experience of staying in a cave!! I checked... more
I spent three magical days and nights at the Gamirasu Hotel. Living and sleeping in a gorgeous room created within a cave gave me the sense of beauty, safety and wonder all at once. My room had a seating area with a panoramic view of the whole area, a king sized bed in an upstairs cave room and a bathroom... more
We sayed at the Gamirasu Hotel for a 3 night stay - and it was one of the most pleasant and comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in! The staff were friendly and understanding of our needs, the food was excellent, and the rooms - I have been in mamny hotels (5 star hotels in 5 continents), but this must... more
This hotel might be the most weird place I have ever stayed... Hotel is great and you can really feel and live the country side.. The staff is so helpful and friendly. So I recommend this hotel sincerly.. more
I stayed for 2 nights at this gorgeous hotel, I have been to Cappadocia a few times now and I found the Gamirasu the most welcoming, comfortable hotel that I have been to in this stunning region, and not overpriced! The rooms are lovely, obviously it is such a wonderful experience to sleep in a cave suite, but to make... more
When you book at Gamirasu, you're booking a room carved out of the rock of the hillside, or an actual cave, or cave-like rooms within a centuries-old monastery. You're also getting top-notch food (with the most wonderfully prideful chef I've ever seen strolling through the dining room), 24-hour attention to any need that might arise, and a helpful advisor in... more
Without reservation, I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It holds excellent standards- beautifully decorated, spotless rooms with an exotic Turkish touch and you would not even think you are in a cave. I travelled with my sister and stayed 2 nights and we truly had a wonderful time. The hotel set up everything for us right from airport pick-up, a... more
The Gamirasu is a lovely small hotel with an excellent, friendly staff. While all speak English, Hameda and the waiters are most helpful in tutoring our feeble attempts at Turkish. The hotel strives to achieve a "family atmosphere" and succeeds quite well. Food is excellent, bountiful and can be adapted to individual tastes. Housekeeping was extraordinarly good, taking extra care... more
After a noisy night in Istanbul it was a delight to arrive at the Gamirasu. Three of us occupied three double rooms. Each one was different and interesting. The furnishings were attractive and the embroidered bed linen was a joy. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious and the stalff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Just go. more
