This is what a hotel should be, anywhere in the world. It is elegant in a simple, rustic setting. The owner has cobbled together former small houses. Now many rooms have their own patio or courtyard. Our room was very clean, comfortable, understated, and well lit. Breakfast was included, with multiple options and very tasty. The staff is quiet, helpful,... More

Want to have your every wish granted? This is the hotel for that. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are so over the top that they are hard to describe in words. Our room had one bathroom carved totally into the hillside. You went down a corridor, around a bend and voila...bathing in your own world. The bed was the most... More

I have to agree with everything everybody is saying. Not only that, Tarik gave us great maps and tips for our self-guided trip (we rented a car). We followed his advice to the t, and had a wonderful experience. The hospitality and comfort was truly amazing, every need was anticipated. When there were going to be some public works construction... More

I have now stayed at Evi Esbelli in 2012 and 2013 and on both occasions I could not have asked for a better place to stay in the Cappadocia region. Don't be alarmed as you drive up the road and see construction underway. Behind the doors of this small hotel is a beautiful oasis which will quickly feel like home.... More

On a recent trip to Cappadocia we had the good fortune to stay four nights at Esbelli Evi. We couldn't have picked a better spot! A group of five women stayed together in the Family Cave Suite and it was unbelievable. The suite is a more like a house with a kitchen, living room and 2 patios built into the... More

I have stayed in many charming and unique hotels the world over, but I must say that after 5 days at Esbelli Evi, this may very well be my favorite hotel ever. I have nothing but glowing praise for every aspect of this hotel. The owner is gracious, incredibly accommodating, and thoroughly prepared. He sat down with us every day... More

After spending a busy several busy days in Istanbul, it was a pleasure to arrive in Cappadocia and to find such a lovely spot in Urgup for some relaxation. My husband and I spent three nights in the Stonecutter's Suite and couldn't have been happier with the selection. The suite was quiet, large, clean, private and comfortable. The decor was... More

The rooms here are fantastic and the service is perfect all for a reasonable rate. Everything is considered and usually included in your rate. Free water, snacks, coffee, tea, internet, and a full breakfast. They even provided a computer in our suite along with power plug adapters. On top of all that, they helped us plan a self tour by... Suha and his staff have created a uniquely pleasing environment, with the fun of caves married to a wonderful ambiance. Our suite had arched 15 foot ceilings, kitchen, living room with lovely views, and a bathroom with both tub and shower stall for two, amazingly larger bathroom than most of the entire accommodations we saw in Turkey! The bedroom was very... More

We recently stayed here for 4 nights, in the Volcanic Suite. Many many large steps! We last stayed here 12 years ago, Suha, the owner being the perfect host, so was lovely to see him again. We were in the Volcanic Suite this time, every detail taken care of in the lovely rooms. Tariq and Yasmin took great care of... More
