In my many years of travel all over this world, I have never been inclined to write a review on TripAdvisor. This is our first trip to Turkey, four of us women. Urgup and Cave Konak being our first introduction to this magical land. This is the reason why I must write this. Being in the business of small boutique... More

My wife and I stayed here for two days on our visit to Cappadocia. We stayed in a Cave Room that was modern and very well appointed. The shower and bathroom were great and the breakfast on the roof very satisfying. We will definitely stay here again when we return as we missed out on our balloon flight so we... More

Cappadocia is a magical place, but sometimes it can be hard to get by if you don't speak Turkish. We were lucky enough to come across Colleen, who kindly welcomed us to her hotel, offered us a drinks and helped us organising a day out hiking in the area. She explained the best routes in detail and gave us really... More

It was a pleasure to help you! If I'm not here, the other half of the hotel - Adnan - also speaks great English and has an enormous knowledge of Cappadocia. We can help with all aspects of your Cappadocia trip, or simply answer a few questions to help you get oriented yourselves. We hope you enjoyed your days in... More

Can't believe I never wrote a review for this place! Stayed back in April 2014. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable about the area, and made some great recommendations for our short time in Cappadocia. While we only stayed for 2 nights, it was really a great experience to be in this part of Turkey. We stayed in the... More

Thank you so much for remembering us! Your review means a lot. The room you stayed in was the Byzantine suite, an underground cave suite, rather like staying in an underground city with full comfort, and always cool in summer! Our hotel is a collection of historical stone houses and underground caves. During the restoration, we purposefully retained the traditional... More

A extraordinary cave hotel, beautifully decorated, while upper rooms giving you the feeling of an old Cappadocian house, in the rooms down you have the experience of sleeping in an underground city. The location is excellent.Even if you are in the centre of Ürgüp with all entertainment, shopping, seightseeing facilities, in the hotel you seem to be isolated all from the crowd and noise.So... Thank you so much for your thoughtful review which includes so many useful points. Perhaps we should tell everyone who we are: one partner, an Urgup local, is a many years experienced state licensed tour guide; the other, originally from England, is an Assistant Professor who taught in a Tourism Guiding department at the local University. We both love sharing... More

All the good things others have said, my mother and I experienced and agreed with during our three-day stay. Colleen was so pleasant and helpful, and the balloon ride and tour she helped us arrange were fantastic. Adnan was a joy, left us smiling and laughing whenever we chatted to him. Our room was just gorgeous. We loved Urgup and... More

Thank you for your wonderful comments. I think there are two things that we have both enjoyed during this whole renovation and hotel experience. One was learning and participating in the restoration of the old houses and being amazed by the creativity and expertise of our stone masons, local workers from a nearby village. The second is the delightful company... More

My husband and I are passionate travelers and have seen the good, the bad and the ugly in places we've been. But here in this charming BB hotel we were so impressed by the services rendered by the hostess, Colleen and her people, by the cleanliness of the place, by the delicious and home made breakfast bread, by the service... We stayed here for three nights during our time in Cappadocia. Beautiful hotel in Urgup which is less touristy than Goreme. There isn't too much to see/do in the town itself, but lots of great little, local restaurants where you can eat cheap and well. Make sure you get recos from the owners! The hotel itself is very cute. Modern... More

Thank you so much for your review. This place is full of history – our houses were in the old “Greek” Christian area of Urgup and the “Turkish” bath over the road was even built by the “Greeks” for their own community. We have tried to keep the original character of all our rooms while at the same time making... More
