There are many accommodations in Cappodocia. Alkabris is exceptional because it combines a beautiful setting, convenient from the door pick up to all tours, amazing food and gentle, attentive hosts. We took the optional dinners which are more expensive than some Turkish meals and were completely satisfied....delicious food well prepared. Wi fi on terrace. Laundry service available.

Spectacular view of ancient "castle" formations; one of the best views in Cappadoccia. Beautiful grounds with rooftop terrace for relaxing and breakfast. Cozy rooms, built into stone walls, attractively furnished with comfy beds, modern bathrooms, and unique artwork. Delicious breakfast with many homemade items. Hosts very helpful, though their English is limited. Difficult to find, but follow signs. Pathway to castle... More

I will tell you what I have told my friends, this is the best place this 70-yr. old has ever stayed. The room was great, the view was spectacular, the food was excellent and the terrace beyond words. If you like ruins and I love ruins, Alkabris looks out upon the small mountain "castle" ruins of Ortahisar, just yards (and... More

My friend told me about Cappadocia the last 10 years and hi told me that Cappadocia begins for him with one small hotel then it accept with endless love and heat. Without this starting point Cappadocia never would open from him the deep spiritual beauty. This year i came to Cappadocia twice and stay in Kamer and Sait hotel. I... More

Ortahisar is off the beaten track - the tourists who turn up tend to arrive in buses, spend a couple of hours mooching around the souvenir shops and visiting the museum, then leaving again. To stay here in the evenings is to experience the real Cappadocia, and Alkabris is one of just a handful of hotels here. Sait and Camer... More

We just spent three nights at the lovely AlKaBriS. The owners Sait and Kamere (sp?) were incredibly gracious and looked after our every need. The hotel is a work of art - literally. Lovingly restored and situated partly in caves carved into rock, it sits atop a small canyon that should be a museum do to the hundreds of rock... More

Everything was so calm and comforting . Two or three most hospitable persons, i've seen in years, this place's owners are . Ortahisar is a standard village . Nice stone buildings all over the place. Overall villagers everywhere . But most of hotels are being ran by people who want quiet and calm, 'do not touch ! ' . This... More

Alkabris was the most beautiful jewel in the middle of Ortahisar. The authentic rooms coupled together with the delicious homemade food made this one of the most memorable places I have ever stayed. The couple that runs the place and the little details were the icing on the cake. Alkabris is a place that turned a tedious and boring business... More
