Our recent stay at the Melekler Evi (House of Angels) in the Old Village of Urgup, Cappadocia was fantastic. This is a small cave hotel with 7 lovely rooms, some of which are cave rooms. We were very well looked after by the hosts Arzu, Muammer, their daughters and two staff. We arrived hot and tired after a long drive... more

The setting of Cappadocia is magical and the hotel is built by beautifully renovating historical caves where people used to live for centuries. It is an extraordinary experience to stay in a cave. There are only seven rooms and you feel like home. The rooms are authentic and yet provide every modern comfort and are kept very clean. There is... more

Our room in this hotel was the most luxurious room we stayed in in all our travels in Turkey. The owners were so warm and friendly. The room was nicely appointed with nice furniture and decorations. It was large and had facilities to make your own tea. The room had a living area to relax in as well as the... more

Arzu and Muammer Erinal have created a cozy, intimate hotel from one of the old cave buildings near Nevşehir in Ürgüp, Turkey. If we shared a language, I would have enjoyed hearing about how the process of renovating this historic building, which apparently took over 5 years, with a splendid result. Our room ("Eternity" -- not my first pick for... more

Found Meleklerevi on Internet by coincidence. It was a very fortunate choice from our side since Meleklerevi was extremely comfortable, with a unique ambiance and warm hospitality offered by Arzu and Muammer as well as the other staff. With the wonderful music archive and warm room, it was a memorable experience. If you need help to discover the region, Muammer... more

Meleklerevi is truly a delightful place to stay. I was three for only 2 nights (I wish I cold stay longer) and that brief amount of time was just wonderful. The hotel is on this steep hilly road that winds through a neighborhood, which I think in itself is an experience. The rooms are tastefully designed, and very naturallly fitting... more
