This hotel was recommended by turkeytraveladvisor but after checking other cave hotels in Goreme, I believe it is vastly overpriced for what you get. And the bathroom infused all three rooms with a nasty smell. The staff was helpful, but not exactly warm and friendly. more

Was a bit dissapointed with the hotel. Although we had made reservation months in advance arrived and were not expected. Were given worst room there. Staff were cool, breakfast was poor. Great location and nice pool which is good for families with kids. Overpriced for what we received. more

This was a comfortable hotel with a cave like feel. The room was certainly cool and was tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was functional. There are tons of cave hotels in Goreme. Some of them are very cave-like, others look like a room that has been rough stucco'd. The Local Cave Hotel is more of the later.
