I stayed in this hotel only for one night, couldn't stand another. There was no fresh air in my room also in general. But I shoul understant with the prices, quite cheap if you compare with the other hotels. The bed was uncomfortable. There was free wifi with really weak signal. Breakfas was quite poor.

Hotel Almer in Kayseri is less than what most westerners would expect, yet more than its net aspect shows. Situated right downtown, near all sights of interest of the city, it offers the chance to visit all attractions within a mile tops, which, in that crowded city, may turn quite pleasant, mostly on a hot and windy day. Rooms are... More

We had 4 rooms in this hotel and we requested silent and nonsmoking-rooms. What we got have been loud and totally smokey - rooms! The night was very bad for us all and we decided to cancel the booking for our second check-in. They spent money to restore the outside front, but insteqd of that they should have spent the... More

The pictures on the website make the hotel look more grand that it actually is. However, overall it is good value and a decent enough place for a couple of nights either end of a trip to Capadocchia. POSITIVE POINTS: Friendly and professional staff (only the day staff speak English) Modern, clean room, with comfortable bed Good value (EUR 55... More

Was in Kayseri for the World Basketball Champs and stayed at Almer as the price was good. Some of the previous reviews left me unsure before getting there, but upon arrival the hotel was much better than I expected. Aircon was working in my room, had no problems with the heat. Room was clean and in better condition than I... More

The room was drab and probably cleaned once a month-to add to the misery, it was hot and stuffy and there was no air conditioning. We were told that in the winter months, they switch the air conditioning off! We requested to be shifted to another room or a higher floor where we could get more breeze- but the manager... More

Staff wasn't very helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast was meager and nearly gone when we arrived near the beginning of the breakfast hour. The room itself was acceptable, larger than normal.

I stayed at Almer two times, last time in 2003. If the conditions have not detoriated there since then ( I suppose not) , certainly it is a hotel to advise. It is located in the very center of Kayseri. If you do not have a bigger budget such that you can stay at the expensive Hilton Kayseri ( certainly... More
