After staying here in May I returned again in November. Faruk organised my transfers from Nevsehir to Goreme, and spent considerable time with me chatting to locals in teahouses and their workplaces. As usual he does his utmost to help all his guests. My hotel room was 'homely' and decorated with local artefacts. The bed was very comfortable, and the... More

This hotel is just a short walk off the main drag and has nice rooms. My wife and I have two dogs and this was one of the few dog friendly hotels we could ffind. We were met by the owner who did absolutely everything to make us feel at home. He was always there if you needed him, but... More

We have stayed here twice over the last few years and can recommend it so highly. Feruk, the owner, is a wonderful host and so helpful in arranging balloon rides, sightseeing, eating establishments etc. One year he organised a local restaurant to bring dinner to the hotel so we could eat on the delightful upstairs terrace after a long tiring... This is a family run place - I think we got the best room :) - two rooms linked together downstairs. It feels like staying in a cave and fits right in with the rest of Goreme. The owner Faruk planned everything else for us including tours and balloon rides etc. His friend Mustafa is a good guide too. I... More

A great hotel in the heart of Goreme in Cappadocia. The region itself is so unique and beautiful, and the hotel fits the part perfectly. It's not a 5 star resort or a slick ultra-modern mansion, because that wouldn't feel right at all. Instead it's a really clean, spacious and very homely place, which actually makes you feel like you're... More

A great hotel in the heart of Goreme. The rooms were not plush but the location and the attention to each of the guests by the owner makes it a great place to stay. There is a breakfast terrace on the second level where you can have a great view of the balloons each morning.

We stayed at this hotel some time ago but I have wanted to write a glowing review since our return. It was simply amazing and all down to the owner. He was so hospitable helping us organise daily activities. The food was amazing. We ate his wife's home cooking twice during our short stay and dined with his family on... More

Kismet cavehouse was the perfect base for our travels in Goreme. Faruk was a honest and helpful host. Always a phone call away and willing to help plan your day with a smile. He is gentle and not imposing. The breakfast spread was delicious, especially the fresh honey from the combs. His staff were always there, ready to offer you... More

With all the great reviews on Tripadvisor, I decided to book with Kismet Cave House for 3 nights. I was blown away by Faruk's hospitality. I asked for directions to the Sunset Point and he walked with me all the way there at 5am. I asked for a map to the Open Air Museum and he drove me all the... More

If there is any place I would recommend staying in this area, it would be Kismet Cave House. Farrukh and his nephew Cihat, made us feel like kings and queens. Farrukh invited us to have a home cooked meal while Cihat gave us a tour of Cappadochia. We were honored by staying in the large cave room and I can't... More
