We (family of four) have just returned home after spending 4 fantastic days at the Kismet Cave House. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and the atmosphere is unique. Faruk is a fantastic host and his treatment of his guests is outstanding. Not only was he at the front door to receive us on our arrival, he was always... More

For me travel is more about the people I meet than the places I stay at. And you can see from all the other reviews that Faruk is the USP of Kismet Cave House. We found him recommended on www.turkeytravelplanner.com which is a really excellent travel resource on Turkey. Right from the beginning I found him to be friendly and... More

Based on the previous reviews on TripAdvisor, we chose this hotel and booked through Hotels.com. This was our experience: 1. As soon as we got the booking confirmation, we got an email from Faruk asking us to cancel this booking and book through his own website for 99euros....we should have guessed that this was the beginning of the bad times.... SimitaRishi, I’m very sorry you had a poor visit and I assure you it was never my intent to fool you. I normally do not reply to reviews as I prefer they remain impartial, but following your unsatisfactory experience I feel obliged to personally address this review and provide some clarification. In regards to the booking miscommunication, we, at Kismet... More

My family and I (six of us) just happened upon Kismet Cave Hotel. I mentioned to a work colleague that we were headed to Capadocia; her response: you must contact Faruk at KCH and go for a hot air balloon ride. Faruk took care of us from arranging transportation from Kayseri airport (at 1:10a!); setting us up with a guide... More

Farouk was amazing!!!!! The hotel and hospitality was second to none, and by far the best we experienced in our whole Europe trip! The hotel and Farouk made our stay as cosy and homely as possible! The beds were comfy, bathrooms clean, breakfast SOOOOOO TASTY ( Farouk we want your scrambled egg recipe! ). He spent half a day showing... More

Faruk and his wonderful and homey hotel define this what kismet is. My second stay with him in two years- both experiences beyond wonderful. Great rooms, breakfast and location. Do not miss hanging out with Faruk in the office and drinking some late night apple tea. He defines the warm hospitality and genuine character of this area and its people.... More

This was the perfect place to stay in Cappadocia. Arrived with some ideas of what we wanted to do but nothing firm. Faruk was very welcoming and helped us come up with some plans and then arranged for everything so we did not even have to make any phone calls. Then we wanted to go for a hike so he... More

A simple cave hotel, great value for money, the real value being the owner Faruk. Whatever you need he will help you find it and do his best to ensure that you have maximum pleasure and great value for money. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he will go to great lengths to help. He is an intrepid... More

We are in a honeymoon and travelled all around Turkey, and must say this is the best accommodation experience. Faruk is a stylish owner, we can tell from the way the room is decorated. He is also very helpful - the places we went hiking, the restaurant we had dinner, the hot air balloon, are all recommended by him and... More

Don't be put off by some negative reviews below. Faruk goes out of his way to help you enjoy your time in this unique location. After asking what we wanted to see, he offered to drive us around in our rental car and show us several of the local sights and some excellent spots for viewing the magnificent scenery. He... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our 8 beautiful rooms are pleasantly and elegantly decorated in warm, soft colours with antique furnishings and private en-suite bathrooms, natural air conditioning and cozy down duvets. Each room offers its own special romantic atmosphere and an escape from the ordinary. Two of the double rooms are also lavished with jacuzzis, one of them is extra special - which we call the honeymoon suite, this also has a fireplace to create that special atmosphere. The quad room is actually a spacious family room complete with fireplace and jacuzzi. ... more   less
