My wife and I traveled to Turkey in May, seeing Istanbul, Cappodocia, and the Aegean. The highlight of our trip was the three nights and four days we spent in Cappodocia with Faruk and his wonderful Cave House. He was a marvelous host. We learned quite a bit about the area from him, about the customs and beliefs of people.... more

A friend and I recently spent 3 nights at the Kismet and could not have picked a better hotel. Faruk is a charming host and both the hotel and location could not have been better. If you have time be sure to ask him to prepare a dinner for you at the hotel. I was invited to share with visitors... more

I honestly do not understand where all the rave reviews are coming from. Perhaps all the rave reviews are written by the same person under different names? There are definitely good aspects of this B&B but I would not recommend this hotel to others. There were other hotels in Cappadocia in the same price range that are nicer than this... more

My wife, mother-in-law, and I stayed in the Lilac Suite at Kismet Cave House May 26-28. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a Cappadocian family-like experience. Faruk welcomes all his guests as if they are staying in his home, and he goes out of his way to make your stay memorable. The stone and cave rooms... more

Our family of four stayed in the Lilac Cave Suite, and were quite pleased! It is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has a fireplace. Breakfast was simple but delicious-I especially loved the yogurt and honey. The owner, Faruk, does a wonderful job of making you feel at home. He truly seems to enjoy his guests, and does whatever he can to... more

This was a suprise birthday present so I did not know where I was going. My son had organised everything. When we arrived at the Kismet Cave hotel we were met by Faruk. Even though it was late in the evening he cooked us a meal, went down town for us some beer, then spent the rest of the evening... more

We are just returning from a 5 night stay at the Kismet. We were charmed by the hotel and the owner, Faruk. Faruk did everything that an owner should do to make his guests feel comfortable and pleased. As an example, Faruk picked us up at the airport instead of Neveshir as had been planned. He didn't have to drive... more

We stayed in the Kismet Cave hotel in a group of 4 people and all of us enjoyed it VERY much! First of all when we arrived to the airport it was cold, dark and wet, the owner of the hotel met us at the exit and from this moment we became happy! He is very hospitable person, always smiling,... more

Kismet Cave Hotel is in a good location and is within a 3 minute walk to the center of town near the bus station. Faruk is the owner of the hotel and he is a very amiable fellow. He will greet you with a bottle of local Capadocchian vintage (strictly average) and will take you on a tour of the... more
