We booked at the Fairy Chimney Inn after reading a nice review about the it in the Lonely Planet Turkey guide. We were more than pleasantly surprised, my jaw dropped wide open the moment we arrived and did not close until we left - such a lovely place! In fact, as our airport shuttle dropped us off, a group of... more

While a little farther from the epicenter of town than I thought, I was more than pleasantly surprised. I had no qualms about choosing a room unseen due to Andrus & Gulcan's easy going nature over the phone. I was ecstatic. It was quiet, cool, comfortable. Decorated in beautiful Turkce tapestry, clean & relaxing. I felt perfectly at home, even... more

I chose FCI based on reviews on Tripadvisor and I feel now that I have made the wrong choice by staying there. This I say after seeing other hotels and B&B's during the week I spent in Cappadocia recently. I think their location is excellent and it is small and personal, but that is the only positive things I have... more

Clean, pleasant... a hike uphill-- so beware the trek; owner pushes favored tours upon arrival; beware again-- and shop around, as these trips are readily available at any travel agency; delightful staff- ask for Mustafa; note that default price is in Euros and cash is preferred (turkish lyra not accepted!) extra charge for credit card payment; (this upset a family... more

I will never forget the Fairy Chimney Inn, and Andus and Gulcan the hosts, are one of the most warm and wonderful people you will come across. I came to Goreme looking for a place to escape the stresses of big city life for a few days over a long weekend. Kapadokya was everything I was looking for and more,... more

We spent a long time working to where to stay for 3 nights in Cappadocia but were finally sold on the FCI by the unanimity of the reviews on this website. Now it's our turn to add another 5 star recommendation. We stayed in the cave suite which is spread out over 4 different levels: 2 single beds just below... more

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was totally magical. Arrived very early in the morning on the bus and got a taxi up the steep hill! The owners did not mind that we arrived at 6 am and quickly made us breakfast and sorted out our room. Everyone speaks perfect English and are very hospitable. Andus who runs... more

A most wonderful setting to spend 8 days in Cappedocia. Most fantastic views of Goreme and the surrounding landscapes from a high vantage point. Andus and Gulcan were brilliant hosts and made us most welcome during our stay. Breakfasts on the terrace were second to none and some great traditional Cappedocian food for evening meals. A great place to celebrate... more

This delightful bed and breakfast overlooks Goreme on one side and a valley full of ‘fairy chimneys’ on the other. Our comfortable room was a unique rectangular cave dug into the side of the hill with a window overlooking the valley. The view from the window in the bathroom was particularly spectacular … you could shower while looking at a... more

I found this Inn by chance in late September 07 and stayed there for one week...I fell in love with the Inn, the owners & family, the location and the village of Göreme - so much so that I returned 7 weeks later and stayed for another 2 weeks in November! The inn is beautiful, charming and everything one would... more
