This is not a hotel..it's a house made into a lodge..it is family run...the family is not friendly and they tried to give us a different room .we had booked the terrace suite but they gave us a bad room and after se arguments they agreed to give us the terrace suite..u can book a better cave hotel by spending... I stayed 2 nights in Goreme Valley Cave House. I took a cave room and it is value for money. The toilet is modern and clean and the bedroom is really inside a cave. It is cooling and pleasant. The bedsheets are clean and well decorated in Turkish style. The location is good, only 5 mins. walk from the bus... More

Ahmet and his family were warm and hospitable hosts, taking care of everything from our arrival, our tours and our onward travel. The rooms were small and basic but we were exploring the area most of the time so it didn't matter. One point of note for the cleanliness freak is that the rooms are not cleaned everyday (only upon... More

Came with 5 more friends and we stayed in the family room. Although its not a real cave you can get the sensation of the real ones! Very cosy, clean and comfortable! Breakfast is incredible with fresh bread, yogurt and fruits! We had dinner cooked by the mamma and it was very typical and tasty, if you can try it!... More

We arrived to the bus station, to find the father waiting for us. Dropped us to the hotel which is 7 minutes walking distance. They welcomed us with apple tea and smiles.. Check in took exactly 5 minutes. Clean room with all the amenities you need. Extremely friendly family that would treat you like part of theirs. They will help... More

We stayed in the cave room for 2 nights and it was very comfortable and clean. Beware when staying in a "cave room" though, as it is not an authentic cave, it just appears to be one with concrete rendered walls. The breakfast buffet was excellent every morning and the people working in reception were helpful with directions, tours etc.... More

Fun to stay in a cave hotel. The room was clean and basic. However, because it was a cave room, it smelled a bit like damp rocks (if you didn't open your windows). The breakfast was yummy...had the standard Turkish breakfast with tomato, cucumber, bread, cheese, olives, and they even had the fried cheese in phyllo pastry. Staff was helpful... More

Best hospitality ever in Goreme! Warm family, nice food, cozy place like home! Ahmet is a warm host which could provide any information you want in Goreme! And I miss the sweet hug of mama, as she always treats us like daughters. The room is special and comfortable, nice decoration as well! The dinning area have a stunning view for... More

The Cave House is one of the loveliest and warmest places I have been to. I would definitely recommend this hostal to all of my friends and, if I get the chance to go back, would not want to stay in any other hotel. You get great value for your money, and full relaxation :) Ahmet and his family were... More

I was not sure what to expect. It seems to be a family-owned business. The family was very welcoming, the rooms were nice and clean, and the breakfast had a variety of items (please keep in mind that the food is turkish) and was good. There is a good view from the terrace and up on the balcony. I highly... More
