We stayed at Gerdis Evi for two nights this October and had a fantastic experience. Location: perfect! Only a five minute walk from the Goreme bus station and most other things in town. Hosts: Kadir and Sahin were wonderful and helped us with our daily planning. They provided honest and thoughtful recommendations - the hot air balloon company and restaurants... More

We stayed in September for 4 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! The place is located close to the city centre and also to the Open Air Museum. We were 3 adults and stayed in one of the suites, which was spacious (as was the bathroom) lovely decorated, spotlessly clean, beds very comfy and the double bed was... More

We had very good stay there, staff Sahin and hotel owner Koeln both very nice and helpful, they help us book the balloon at the peak time, drive us to the top of the town for sunset, the little son of the hotel owner is so cute, we enjoy the 3 days stay there very much!

Stayed three nights at Gerdis Evi in September 2014 - had a really great stay, the hotel is in a good location just a few minutes' walk from all the restaurants and bars. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated and the outdoor areas were also lovely - the first floor terrace provides a good view of the early... More

We stayed five nights at GerdisEvi. The spacious, rustically arranged apartment on the ground floor provided enough room for two people and their hiking-luggage. A rich breakfast buffet was provided every morning, with fresh fruit, eggs, baklava, omelets, gözme etc. The owners of the hotel are very friendly and obliging. Furthermore, they gave us some advice about the hiking tours... More

We had a fantastic stay at Gerdis Evi. We were 3 family members staying together in one room and it was spacious, clean and neat. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and immediately made us feel right at home. A special thanks to Shaheen and Kadir for their generous hospitality, the great laughs and the delicious apple tea! Awesome... More

This guesthouse is truly beautiful. The location is just off the main road into the center making it a short stroll to the bus station. The decor is beautiful, the views even better. The breakfast good, the service excellent. However two things I would like to highlight are 1) communication with the guest house was very slow via email compared... More

We stayed 6 nights in a deluxe double with vast bed, lots of space, comfortable furniture for sitting and reading or chatting, nice big bathroom with ever-hot shower, really everything as we like it. No daft dried-flower arrangements or folded toiletroll corners but tasteful decor in natural materials in traditional style. Large terrace outside, shared with one other room but... More

I love the atmosphere of this hotel, so peaceful and serene, the staff are very nice, friendly and helpful and really trying to accommodate your needs there. The room and bathroom are clean, the bed is comfortable. The location is perfect as it is really near to the city center and walking distance to the open air museum and to... More

We stayed for three nights and would have happily stayed more. We paid 30 euros for a standard en-suite double which was clean and comfortable. The B&B/pension is conveniently located - a few mins walk from the main bit of Goreme and yet in a reasonably quiet corner. Although not a cave-hotel, it is surrounded by fairy chimneys and with...
