Second time I try to leave a review as first was not published. We arrived at midnight. In the morning we realized the room was infested with ticks and my partner had one on his back. We complained to the staff, we were not given the option to change room and they didnt help us to find another hotel. As... More

I stayed in the six bed dorm for three nights, and I was satisfied with the stay. It is in a cave, so it was quite cold, but on the other hand you don't need an air con, so it's much better like this. They presented all their tours when we arrived, but never participated in any of them. (Though,... More

The rooms are clean. So are the washrooms. The staff is alright. Usman helped us alot with directions and information. Overall the terrace & the breakfast area could be made cleaner. For young adventure travelers this is a decent place to stay.

This hostel is a great place for travelers and backpackers. There are many other places to stay in Goreme if you're looking for something fancy but for the price, this is a great place to stay. I would strongly encourage you to secure a room with an bathroom in it because the outside bathrooms can be very cold at night... More

Actually, the quality of this pension is not excellent, but the price is cheap and the staffs are kind. So, if you make a plan to go alone and want to save your money, this pension is reasonable choice for you. Also, there are various types of tour they offer. We can easily enjoy tours, and I recommend rose belly... More

The best thing of the hostel apart from the warm rooms is the Japanese lady, I hope she will find a better job with a respectful manager soon. Mr. Mustafa was as bad mannered with her as he was with my trip mate and me. Freezing outside bathrooms, if you go in the winter make sure you carry a provision... More

Ishtar Cave's staff is very good and helpfull. Mr. Mustafa, the owner, answered one email we sent late at night. They provided us transportation form Nevsehir Airport to the hostel for 20 TLS. The hostel is nice and clean, and the rooms are warm (great during wintertime). However, the bathrooms are outside, and taking a bath is challenging due to... More

I spent 4 nights in the 5-beds dorm between November and December. Staff was very friendly offering us tea for free whenever we wanted and a fantastic breakfast included in the room price. The dorm got beds more comfortable and cleanest than any other hostel where i've been (..and i travel a lot) but you don't have the wifi in... More

I stayed one night in Ishtar Cave Pansion, the staff was so friendly and the 5 bed mixed room was not bad. They provided free towel, wifi and breakfast. I also joined a trekking tour, and they provided good Cappadocia wine with the journey. I enjoyed my stay there a lots.
