Staying here at the Turqauz Cave Hotel was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Cappadocia (and maybe even our entire trip in Turkey)! This place is even better than it looks in pictures. When we arrived, Soren, the hotel manager was there to greet us and fill us in on everything we could do/see in Istanbul. He also helped us... More

Turquaz Cave Hotel is beautiful. It is located at the top of a hill and the views are the best you can get in Goreme. The room was clean and spacious enough. The weather in April was surprisingly cold and we had a little problem with the radiator, but the staff was very helpful and they solved it quick. Being... More

The place sits on top of a small hill within Goreme giving a panorama of Goreme valley. You could have breakfast here on the top watching the Balloons fly to the top. The very friendly host who made all the arrangements for us even for activities outside of the home was an added advantage. Also he showed us himself some... More

This review comes a little late, but we had an amazing experience at this hotel and felt that it should be shared, late or not. We stayed at this hotel in June of 2014. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by Lorraine (a fellow Canadian!) who was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very interesting and she... More

The room is clean and bath room is big. It took a bit long time to have warm water for shower, but it's not a problem. The heater in the winter is not strong, but they offered us an extra radiometer, I felt comfortable and warm. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, but I think it can be a... More

Turquaz Cave is a small, nice hotel at the top of Goreme with a magnificent view. The rooms are very nice even if a little bit small and Lorraine, the person in charge of the hotel and Furkan, the helping boy, are two really nice and helpful persons. Good breakfast served either on the terrace overlooking the valley or in... More

In my opinion Turquaz Cave is a good hotel. It's more than average and less than very good...it is good! Lorraine is a very nice person, Furkan it's smart and helpful and the place it's nice above the expectations to be honest, but doesn't reach the level of "very good". The rooms are comfortable and clean but really small and... More

Loved our stay in Goreme. Lorianne, the lady who runs the hotel was great. She explained everything about the area, explained all the tours you could take, etc. We were a little weary of booking excursions through a hotel; however, all the tours she suggests are the same price as down town, so it's not like you are paying more.... Everything was perfect: the hotel is located inside a very beautiful stone made structure. The breakfast is served on a terrace with a wonderful view on the red valley. The very kind staff helped us to resolve every problem we had. If I were forced to find a problem I should say that the room were very hot, but I... More

My daughter and I stayed for three days in late June. We didn't want to leave! Our room was delightful, tasteful, quiet and comfortable. Nice bathroom, great shower with solar powered hot water! Small details not overlooked. The hotel is partially built into a fairy tower and surrounded by amazing views, a benefit of a higher location. Breakfasts were the... More
