Turquaz Cave is a small, nice hotel at the top of Goreme with a magnificent view. The rooms are very nice even if a little bit small and Lorraine, the person in charge of the hotel and Furkan, the helping boy, are two really nice and helpful persons. Good breakfast served either on the terrace overlooking the valley or in... More

In my opinion Turquaz Cave is a good hotel. It's more than average and less than very good...it is good! Lorraine is a very nice person, Furkan it's smart and helpful and the place it's nice above the expectations to be honest, but doesn't reach the level of "very good". The rooms are comfortable and clean but really small and... More

Loved our stay in Goreme. Lorianne, the lady who runs the hotel was great. She explained everything about the area, explained all the tours you could take, etc. We were a little weary of booking excursions through a hotel; however, all the tours she suggests are the same price as down town, so it's not like you are paying more.... Everything was perfect: the hotel is located inside a very beautiful stone made structure. The breakfast is served on a terrace with a wonderful view on the red valley. The very kind staff helped us to resolve every problem we had. If I were forced to find a problem I should say that the room were very hot, but I... More

My daughter and I stayed for three days in late June. We didn't want to leave! Our room was delightful, tasteful, quiet and comfortable. Nice bathroom, great shower with solar powered hot water! Small details not overlooked. The hotel is partially built into a fairy tower and surrounded by amazing views, a benefit of a higher location. Breakfasts were the... More

The room, breakfast, and service were all good and I would have given them 5 stars if the Canadian woman in charge (Laura?) would have had more common sense and a little more scruples. The introduction was a bit long and she kept talking and trying to sell us tours even though we tried to give her a hint that,... More

A wonderful little hotel set high above the town. Lots of advice from both Lorraine and Orhan. Rooms are beautiful and even in winter we had no need for the heater. Breakfast were lovely and the views from the terrace especially early in the mornings were awesome. Orhan and Lorraine were amazing, great people to chat to especially if they... More

We spent 3 nights here in May 2014 and loved it. When we first checked in Lorraine showed us two rooms that were available - the cave room we had booked and another. We actually chose the other as it had better views. Another reviewer mentioned that they did not think this was an authentic cave hotel and that they... More

You can't believe how friendly and helpful BOTH Orhan and Lorraine are until you meet them in person. If they give you advice on specific ours, or places to go, LISTEN TO THEM. They know their way around Cappadocia. Orhan arranged an airport pickup, a balloon ride and a tour weeks in advance for me. We happened to see him... More
