This place sure enough is built right into the side of a mountain, but we were disappointed all the way around with the upkeep of the rooms and the public areas of this hotel. We never knew the name of the gentleman who was managing the place when we arrived, but we got the impression that perhaps the hotel business...

Lalezar Cave Hotel
We arrived early morning at Goreme after a 12 hour overnight bus ride from Istanbul. We were a little disoriented as there was no one there to receive us. We went to the tourist information office located close by and the officer on duty made a phone call to the hotel. We were told to wait 5...

Cozy rooms, inviting open areas, tea all day long. Located a stroll away from the charming main street, with zero pressure shops, restaurants, shops, cafes and restaurants. Wish I could have stayed a few more days! The staff plays a mean game of darts too! ; )

The staff...

I travelled with a family of 6 and stayed here for 2 nights. We had 3 rooms tucked in a cave with a little "living room" area outside our rooms. The rooms are clean but the bedsheets and towels seem to look old and grey.
It is a unique experience sleeping in a "cave" as it supposedly keeps u warm...

It’s a nice place. The hotel is clean and the rooms are big.
Every room has a terrace where you can relax and admire the sunset.
The breakfast is generous.
