We stayed 2 nights in Goreme and saw the sights of the area. We took the south bus tour and enjoyed it and found it well worth the 50 lira.
The Cappadoccia Rock Valley Pension was a nice clean hostel with a pleasent breakfast and polite host. It has a pool, but it was winter when we were there so it was not in operation. The location is great - close to food and hiking. The price was very reasonable. Towels were available for a small charge. Laundry machines were available. more
