This hotel was fairly small but the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was average but as usual buffet style. As for location well I was on a coach tour so all trips taken were on a coach and we were collected from the hotel. It was in a quiet location so was not disturbed by traffic. The room... More

This hotel is a short walk out of the town, which is worth exploring if wishing to sample local culture. The reception is quite impressive with a friendly reception and generous seating areas where one can meet, read or enjoy a drink. The rooms were okay although as we soon learned every bedroom door slams very loudly and each ringing... More

Was promised by RSD 5 and 4 star hotels only, this one is 3 star, but cannot fault the effort put in by staff to make stay as good as possible. Pool area good, didn't use other sports facilities; they also provide free pool towels on demand. Food good, all meals buffet with a fair selection, no European set meals... More

The high and airy atrium in the middle of the hotel is impressive as is the swimming pool at the back. The atrium has local art and craft shops where we managed to haggle for some nice souvenirs which probably could have been purchased cheaper elsewhere but it was convenient. There is not much else in the town but there... More

My husband & I stayed here, for 2 nights, during our Cosmos Grand Tour of Turkey, last October. Our room, 327, was ok, small wardrobe, 2 drawers, 3 shelves, only 1 bed-side table, a full length mirror, no kettle (glad we had our own, plus drink sachets) hairdryer, 2 small soaps, dispensers in the shower. There was a small bathroom... More

For a spacious and well-lit lobby, this hotel's entrance still manages to disappoint. Maybe because of the hodge podge furnishings, untidy book and reference shelves, dust-covered artificial planters along the veranda railings and seemingly unhelpful man behind the counter. The wifi did not work in our room, so we had to downstairs or somewhere to get access to it. Thank... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, as part of a tour of Turkey. It is very modern and all rooms exit onto a central atrium. Very clean with firm beds...which we prefer. We were lucky to have a pool and garden view. Full buffet at breakfast with hot and cold dishes and a large dinner buffet with yummy... More

The location of hotel is nice. Other than that there is nothing much to brag about. Breakfast was average, if u gonna order anything extra like coffee on breakfast time, they gonna charge u extra. So beware on that. Reception staff was helpful and kind. Hotel interior just like a normal apartment. The room was cleaner though , and some... More

Stayed 2 nights on a coach holiday touring Turkey. 5 minutes walk to the small town which had a lot going on particularly on a Sunday afternoon. 2 supermarkets nearby A lot of tour buses stay here. Hotel fine, breakfast and dinner not at all memorable,

The Altinyazi is a large modern hotel arranged in multiple stories around a central atrium. It caters to bus tour groups -- there were at least five when we were there. It is located in the town of Avanos, several miles north of Goreme and its famous open air museum of cave dwellings and cave chapels. There is an hourly... More
