One of the most beautiful places I've visited, I would recommend it to anyone ! Mehmet the owner is a very nice and helpful. The village of Akkoy is fantastic and perfect for moving across Cappadocia. All the food I ate was delicious. Go there and surely will not regret it.

I stayed in this wonderful and unique boutique hotel for two nights in May 2010. My room was beautiful: tastefully decorated, spacious and immaculately clean. The rest of the hotel was likewise and had all the necessary conveniences including Internet and very large areas in which to relax both inside and outside. The location in a small village was lovely... More

Firstly Akkoy Evleri although technically in Urgup, is actually a good 15minute car ride and the tranquil valley and village of Akkoy seems much further away, from the noise, hustle and bustle of central Urgup and Goreme. We were welcomed with traditionally cooked bread and asked if we wanted to upgrade which we duly did. There was never any pressure... More

My mate chose this hotel because of the rave reviews and descriptions of authentic village life and organic food. But it wasn't quite like that at all ! We arrived at night and it was really spooky driving 15 kms down this dirt track to end up in a ghost village - the houses are all crumbling down and virtually... More

This boutique hotel is the only tourist accommodation in Akkoy, a semi-deserted town with a history of several thousand years, located 14 km. away from Urgup (Cappadocia) on the mountain site with a panorama view. The houses of the village are mostly one- or two-storey buildings with a simple but special architecture, mainly constructed partly by carving into the mountain... More

We travelled with two children and my elderly mother. The hotel was very family friendly and the owner himself had his family and his children around, which really made a difference for our kids. His facility is simple, but pleasing, comfortable and serene, and it is unique in style, almost like an ancient castle, nothing like the standard boutique caves... More
