Thisis a very pretty hotel and the staff could not have been nicer. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience there. First, there was a disco next door which was extremely loud and did not finish till late. Second, we had a motor in a locked cupboard in our room which came on sporadically and enthusiastically (the staff told us that... more

We stayed at Kervansaray Hotel for 1 night enroute to visit Troy during our 2 weeks trip to Turkey and its turned up to be the best hotel in this trip. The hotel is a restored old ottoman house which consists of 2 buildings. Our double on the ground floor with windows overlooking the garden with nice antique feel decorations,... more

Staff is very very friendly and the ottoman style is chaming. Spacious room, with all necessary ammenities. They have no restaurant, so they send you to a restaurant 2 blocks away. You are then offerred a 'fix menu'...(a la carte option is not included in hotel fee). It was raining when we got back to hotel after dinner. Breakfast was... more

a quiet oasis right in the heart of Canakkale. With restaurants, sights and ferries are all to hand you cannot choose a better place to stay in this somewhat underated town. Exceedingly helpful staff ,a clean efficient room, an excellent breakfast and above all sensible prices make this a great place to stay. The only caveat is the difficulty of... more

Not that I really visited other hotels in Canakkale but this one certainly had more character than most, really friendly staff, in the older part of town. A bit of a mosquito problem in the large spacious rooms in the original area, but not the case in the smaller rooms in the new block. Our room in the new block... more

A great hotel to stay a shorter time in Cannakkale. Its easy to find the hotel even if you are arriving for the first time to the city and in the night. Perfect distance to do a day trip to the Gallipoli peninsula or Troy or if you just are travelling east or west in Turkey or just towards Istanbul. more

This hotel has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The courtyard really makes this place! The staff are extremely helpful (assisted to book acommodation at our next destination). Room was small but functional and bathroom had a decent shower! more

The previous review pretty much sums it up -- the hotel was charming, clean and efficient. It's also just a few minutes walk from the ferry, Naval Museum, and many restaurants. The free valet parking and hospitable staff made it even more pleasant. Perhaps our favorite part of the hotel, though, was the peaceful courtyard/garden between the front (original) section... more
