We had the great pleasure of staying with Eric and Urslem in September. Much has been said about Gallipoli Houses and we can only but agree. Our room was impeccibably clean and very attractive. The food was superb and Eric's knowledge was amazing. We found the whole experience of Gallipoli very moving. Going in September was a good move as... more

We stayed at Gallipoli Houses for 4 nights during October half-term with our 2 children and Father (in-law). It is such a wonderful place and Eric is a brilliant host. He is incredibly knowledgable about the battlefields and helped us plan our itinerary each day (including a stop at the beach for the children). The rest of the staff were... more

Gallipoli Houses are situated in the village of Kocadere. It is well signposted from the main road running from Eceabit to Gabatepe and I had no difficulty at all in finding it. My bedroom was of an adequate size, simple but comfortable, and had a patio with a pleasant view of part of the village and countryside. The bathroom facilities... more

Very different experience to visit the battle fields and feel the souls of thousands of soldiers. After a big day it was wonderful to go back to Gallipoli houses. Comfortable room, delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, very helpful information about the area. If you have found here never look for another place to stay! more

My wife found this hotel online after reasearching many places to stay in the area. A true hidden gem! The hotel is located just outside Ecebat and is the closest hotel to the Gallipoli battlefields. The staff were outstanding, friendly, knowledgable and extremely courteous. The rooms while simple, were impeccably clean, well stocked and extremely comfortable. The meals in their restaurant,... more

I never prayed so much during a vacation as much as I did in this one! I prayed for every single soldier no matter his religion or nationality. Life is a preciuos gift and the Gallipoli Houses remind you this every single day when you wake up each morning with the sounds of nature... the birds chirping, the cows mooing,... more

5 of us stayed here in 3 rooms in April 2009 for a whirlwind tour of the Gallipoli peninsula. We stayed two nights, which were very comfortable indeed. The rooms were large and very clean, and all were well equipped. The location itself is very quiet, with the exception of a few farm animals milling about, and the call to... more
