I stayed with 16 students. The rooms were comfortable, all be it a tad small, and had basic amenities. We had breakfast included, a good assortment of local foods for the kids to try, with the addition of some homely foods- cereal and toast and jam. Dinner was great, 3 course and different both nights we stayed. The staff were... More

The hotel is located on the main road near the ferry and the foreshore promenade. The only downside to the hotel is the fact that it occupies two buildings. I kept getting lost! The tariff included breakfast and dinner. The dinner was a fixed menu, no choices offered. On the two nights I was there the courses included a generous... More

One thing I love about hotel Helen is its location. It is few meters away the ferry boat port. Restaurants, café and shopping stalls are nearby. Our room and bathroom are both clean and tidy. The staffs are accommodating and friendly. We were able to sleep well. Overall, we did enjoy our stay.

Stayed here as part of a local tour. Beds are uncomfortable, non smoking room smelt like cigarettes and the walls are so thin you can hear the toilet flushing next door. Wifi worked really well no complaints there and the room was warm with two heaters. Free breakfast selection very limited but it's free so can't whinge too much! Location... More

After an extremely long bus trip from Istanbul, I was pretty exhausted. We crossed the peninsula on the vehicle ferry and then just a very short walk to the hotel. Greeted by a lovely warm smile and welcome when I walked into the hotel lobby, I was shown to my room after checking in. It was small and simple but... More

I always spend a night here on our way to Kusadasi. The hotel is very clean, rooms are accommodating, nice bathroom with spotless toilet amenities. I am very pleased with its location also. Staff is nice but not over the top.

We stayed in September after a visit to Gallipoli. Our overnight stay was OK for the price, and the room was clean, however it was quite small and our suitcases had to go on the floor in the hall. Breakfast was included, but if you are gluten free like us - the choice was limited. The breakfast area was poorly... More

I travelled to Gallipoli with a friend to visit the World War I battlefields. Our travel agent in Turkey, Fez Travel, had made a mistake in our hotel booking and told our original hotel, the Grand ANZAC, that we would ahre a room. This was in spite of confirming two single rooms to us. When this was cleared up, the... More

Helen was a great place to base myself while in this area. The town is a long bus ride from Istanbul but the sign for this hotel is visible from the ferry dock where you step off. A quiet and comfortable room for the price, I would be very likely to stay here if I visited again.

I must say i had higher expectations of this hotel. Staff were ok. Rooms pretty basic. But i suppose you do get what you pay for. The place really needs some work. But if you are coming by bus from Bandirma the servis drops you conveniently nearby
