Upon arrival you have to make it through the smoke filled lobby and hallways to get to your room. There is an elevator to the five floors of this 20-room hotel. The single rooms are small but double rooms are adequate in size and come with a fridge (which barely works), wifi (though often with only one bar), an average sized bathroom with large shower enclosure and very hot water, a complimentary in room safe large enough to hold my 13 inch laptop, an armchair and desk/makeup table, decent cupboard space, stained carpets and blankets that look like it has been a long time since they saw the inside of a washing machine. Housekeeping do a good job of keeping the worn rooms as well maintained as possible. The front-desk staff are totally unhelpful and let on that they do not speak English until check-out time when they can fluently tell you how much you owe.
