Hotel was quiet (off season). The rooms were a little tired and in need of a refurb but spacious enough. Breakfast was ok but the evening meal was no great shakes. Swimming pool looked nice though! more

I´ve been to my share of lousy places but this one tops it all!!! The shampoo dispenser had MOLD on it, the TV was a 20 years old 14 inches Telefunken, the food was not fit for dogs. My bed was 2 twin beds placed side by side. The staff was allways with an attitude. RUN AWAY!!! more

My wife, adult daughter and I stayed at Iris Hotel for one night as part of a group tour after visiting Gallipoli. Located on the Dardanelles on the beach, Iris is located at a very nice spot. Private beach, swimming pool, dining area over looking the sea, this was very nice indeed. We had a room with 3 beds. Spacing... more

The hotel is actually at Guzelyai and is about 15-20 km from Canakkale. This is important if you are catching a ferry to Gallipoli. ie Allow heaps of time. Our room had a nice balcony overlooking the Dardenelles. We had a double bed and a single bed in our room - both extremely hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was spoilt... more

I was mislead by reviews of this hotel, claiming quaint and charming. With wounderful views. The hotel is very far from all the local attractions and will cost the best part of 40 euro in a cab to Canakkale. The worst part I found was the front of house staff, they were unhelpful to the point of being rude. I... more

The staff, as elsewhere in Turkey always aim to please. Breakfast was customarily Turkish and acceptable. The terrace overlooking the beach was its best feature. The pool & gardens were very nice. It wasn't brilliant but we have nothing bad to say about this hotel. more

1. Bathroom was moldy, got flooded when shower was used. Shower stall needs caulking. In great need of repair. Frayed towels need replacement. If these things will be attended to, then hotel will be highly recommendable. 2. On the plus side, great Aegean Coast location, walking distance to beach. more

I took a group of seven here for a four night stay. This was to be a base for two days crossing to the Peninsular to visit battlefield sites, a day visiting Troy and a visit to the Naval Museum and the Dardanos Battery. Reception and retaurant staff were welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were well presented... more

The hotel stays about 15 km south from Çanakkale, at the beach - to our great advantage ! We were given a big suite room, the largest we´ve even been ! The room was pleasantly decorated, with a bathroom of a good size, and a nice veranda with view to the pool and the Dardanelos. The staff was corteous, and... more

My wife and I stayed overnight at this hotel in early June as part of a 2-day excursion from Istanbul. Please find my feedback / comments about this hotel below: Booking Our booking was done as part of a tour by a travel agent. Consequently, I'm not sure what the nightly rate was, but I'd expect to pay in the... more
