Our stay was part of our tour, so we did not have a choice in the hotel, but I would have chosen this hotel regardless. We were fortunate enough to have a small balcony were we could reflect on our tour so far and look forward to our days to come. Clean bathroom, nice and comfortable bed. Breakfast was a... More

I'm rating this hotel a 4 because it is everything it states itself to be. It is an ordinary hotel with clean, functional rooms. Room and bathroom were bigger than we expected. Breakfasts were buffet style and there was a lot of different foods - breads, olives, cheese, scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal etc. Location is excellent - close to cafes,... More

Our stay in Canakkale was made extra special by staying at this wonderful small but excellent hotel. The hotel manager Okan was so helpful and really a joy to talk to. Our tours to Galipolli were made so easy with his assistance and the arrangements with Crowded House in Eceabat which we had made separately worked perfectly with this hotel... More

I really enjoyed this hotel as a single traveller. The room was a large and comfortable and yes the walls are thin but not as bad as some other hotels in Europe. The hotel is well located and easy to get around and walk around town. This hotel has a great breakfast and the staff are well versed in English.... More

The attention by the staff was great with parking the car, suggested itineraries and places to eat. The location of the hotel was also excellent. The problem was the noise from the alley and the adjoining rooms, there's not much insulation in those walls. Would have to say it's the worst sleep I've had so far on our trip. It's... More

We only stayed over for one evening, but it was comfortable. Clean rooms and friendly personnel. The food was great. It was a bonus to have a kettle with coffee, tea and even turkish delight sweets in the room, which we did not have in some of the other hotels. The location of the hotel is good.

This is my first negative review. We have just stayed 2 nights and have been generally disappointed. Behind the Smoke and Mirrors everything is really very ordinary. Front office OK, breakfast poor, room spacious but noisy through the walls! beds hard! sheets stained! no toiletries, drains smelly. I could not recommend the Grand Anzac to anyone.

We stayed at Grand Anzac July 2013 for purpose of Gallipolli tour. Emin at reception went far out of his way to help with all info as buses , organised the tour of battlefields and all local information and made us feel welcome , we'll be back there next year and it will be straight to Grand Anzac . Location... More

We stayed at the Grand Anzac hotel as part of a tour and it was fine for one night. The good things about the hotel included its central location (near the waterfront and the town centre), the buffet breakfast and the hospitality (the staff were friendly and didn't charge us for the water we took from the minibar). The not... More

This hotel has everything but noise control. If your a heavy sleeper no worries but the walls are a bit thin if the people in the next room are talking loudly (or having a late night Skype call to their family back home). That being said, there is free WiFi, good sized, clean bedrooms and bathrooms, great buffet breakfast and... More
