We stayed here as part of Insight Vacation tour. The hotel has a beautiful lobby with good views over the city. The room was very spacious and clean. Free wifi and complimentary water provided in the room. Both breakfast and dinner buffets in the hotel restaurant had very good quality and selections. The staffs were just purely wonderful.

Had the misfortune to stay at this hotel as part of a tour of Turkey. On entering our room found it hot and humid, attempted to adjust the airconditioning but could not do so. on enquiry at reception we were told the airconditioning had been set for winter and would not be reset until May (our visit being in April). The best hotel in Bursa - Ataturk stayed here too! Very nice large and comfortable rooms and good service from hotel staff. Free wifi available (high speed and reliable) and complimentary water provided in the rooms. Good selection of foods for breakfast and a wide range of food for dinner (evening meals) - massive, high quality buffet which encourages you... More

A very old hotel that was refurbished several years ago.The air conditioning is centrally controlled and not by each individual room. For some stupid reason, the management had the air conditioning on hot and we had to open the balcony door to cool the room down. The room faced the main road so in doing this we suffered the noise... More

This is the best hotel you can stay in historical city of Bursa. It was also prefered by Great Kemal Atatürk in his stays in Bursa. The spa or hamam of the hotel is extraordinary and historical, 30C water temperature which is good for your skin and lots of health problems, Food is good and rich breakfast buffet. Rooms are... First impressions were very positive: an impressive building, a beautiful lobby, well located, with good views over the city. Things soon changed. On the way to our room we noticed how poorly lit the corridors were. The room was so badly lit I had to use a torch to read the air-conditioning temperature because the room was too warm and... More

The Hotel is beautifully presented with well appointed rooms but beware the bathrooms flood due to showers leaking. Breakfast and dinner buffets were superb and the food plentiful. Certain areas within the hotel were overheated including the bar area. Service throughout was excellent. Beautiful Turkish baths and well equipped gym and pool, free WIFI throughout.

Research reveals that Ataturk insisted in 1935 that Turkey have a 5 star hotel: and so the Celik Palas was built. But he would not recognise it today as it has been totally refurbished. It is a very modern, comfortable hotel with magnificent views of a Bursa from the bar and restaurant area. Service was brilliant. Only wished we could... More
