We were travelling to Bursa from Istanbul. The driver took us straight to the hotel, which lies atop a hill overlooking the city of Bursa and Mt. Ulludag. We got room no. 11, which I thought was the best point to see Bursa, the mountain as well as the sunrise and sunset. Breathtaking view! The room was clean, tidy and... More

The hotel has a good location and is very unique and special. Every room is individually decorated. We had a room for three, but one bed was not usable because there was some ventilation that was too loud to sleep with. They offered us a second room for free which was nice, but if the hotel had been full we... More

Bursa is a good choice for a weekend gateaway from Istanbul. Take a fast ferry from Pendik or Yenikapi and you will be in Bursa in around 2 hours (fast ferry and city drive, all included). If you prefer Pendik-Yalova ferry, and if you are willing to go an extra 40 km, feel free to enjoy Iznik - antique city... More

Hotel on top of old stone wall overlooking Bursa. Beautiful views...has great garden for drinks, restaurant menu was very good. Room clean, beds comfortable, old world charm. Very close to silk market, antique shops.

despite being in hospitality industry which makes me quite picky, i had one of the most memorable stays of my life in this lovely furnished boutique hotel. the stuff is so helpful. in the mid of the night my room mate started to cough so badly and we asked for a herbal tea which was not a trouble at all.... Can't recommend this place high enough! Our stay completely exceeded our expectations. The staff was so great, the food was delicious ( amazing breakfast!) and the rooms absolutely charming.Very pretty courtyard garden and attractive, old-style furnishings .We enjoyed eating outside in the garden. It was a very romantic, quiet getaway. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Among many big hotels Kitapevi with its small number of rooms is the best option to stay in Bursa. You can be sure with a friendly service in a family run hotel. It is very centrally located to the old city center and has a wonderful garden. We were there in a winter month but it is sure that you can enjoy the... As a local who spent 5 years in Bursa for his bachelors degree it was nice to be back. As soon as we got into the Hotel with my friends, who are dealing with hotel business, we were fascinated with the warm, family environment of the interior. It is an old structure converted into a hotel. Each room has its... More

Lots of character in an old building with history. A nice log fire gave atmosphere to a late afternoon in a charming lounge/dining area. Good location to visit the whole town. Breakfast exceptionally good - high quality, local foods, not the. 'usual stuff'. Dinner food was fine but nothing special. The room was tastefully decorated but could have been warmer... More

Took a Junior Suite courtyard view. Location impressive, standing on the battlements of the old citadel walls and towers. Definitely had an out of season feel. Room was ok, it grew on me. Some funnies like unplugged lamps with no wall sockets in sight and a kettle that required you to unplug the fridge to get going. Breakfast superb and... More
