This is a small hotel about 500m to the Great Mosque and bazaar. All major sides are within easy walking distance. Taxis are about 40 m away. Very comfortable and clean room plus helpful staff. Free parking next to the hotel. Good breakfast. The only drawback is that staff barely speak English, but enough to get basic information.

We spent a pleasant and restful night in the Safran Otel. The location is great, in short distance to the historical buildings but also close the city. Staff was friendly and spoke good English and made you feel at home right from the start. Parking was available right in front of the hotel. The Turkish breakfast was fresh and plentiful... More

When first arrived the hotel seemed closed. Thirty minutes later we come back and after knocking on the door they open it. The room was ok but 150TL off-season was a bit high. Breakfast was fine. Best to do in Bursa was the hammam (Kaplıcalar) which was great on the mens side (women side seems not so nice).

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in and would not hesitate to recommend or come back to. The rooms were decorated in Ottoman style and were clean, comfortable and room was spacious. It was centrally located and within 10 minute walk of the famous Ulu Cami, covered bazaar and Koza Han. Staff were attentive, helpful and spoke very... More

Great hotel very centrally located. The rooms were pleasant and clean. The surrounding area had parks mosques and tombs and well worth exploring the old streets, houses and small shops. A 15 minute walk took us to the city and the the Silk Han with a wonderful Antique section and cool tree lined courtyard with restaurants. The only drawback was... More

Finally I can have a good sleep after my half month exhausted trip in Turkey. In Istanbul and Ankara, I was disturbed by all kinds of noise during my sleep. In Konya, I encountered the worst hostel counter staff and manager I've ever met. Sleep quality is quite good but not perfect: I can still hear some horn of cars... More

The Safran Hotel was recommended to me by a friend from Istanbul who stayed there a few times for business trips. I was booked in there for three nights. Safran Hotel is a neat, but comfortable and well managed Boutique Hotel with all amenities. Here you will find everything one could wish for - if you are not posh and... More

We chose this hotel because of its location. It is a cute boutique hotel and we didn't have any noise problems like other visitors. It's a 10 mins. walking distance to the main street and Ulucami. It seems like it's the only good (also reasonably priced, clean and secure) hotel in the downtown area. We usually came back late at... More

Bursa in general is a quiet city, suitable to just chill and blend with the local culture. We decided to go here to experience a different environment from the usual recommended Turkey Tour Package. There's a direct ferry from Istanbul to Bursa. We had difficulty finding this hotel earlier because it is right on top of the hillside area. From... More

The Safran is within walking distance to the city center in Bursa. Such a good location! The rooms were very neat and clean. The breakfast was lovely, even though I think we were the onyl ones staying at the hotel that night. The owner and staff were very helpful. Was a good stop for one night in Bursa.
