We stayed two nights on our excursion to Izmir. The hotel and the rooms are clean.Breakfast is poor and the evening without many choices! The staff did not speak English. The lobby was cold! The night has not much choiceς since nothing exists OPEN nearby. You must go 9 Km to Ayvalik. You must drink cafe in the KANELLOU cafe in Ayvalik... More

We stayed only for October 2nd. Hotel looked great. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Rooms were clean and much larger than average rooms. It was right accross from a very large beach and hotel had a nice size swimming pool. Since it was the end of summer season, there were not many guests at the hotel. We had one... More

Great place for a stay. Excellent food and bar. "Happy Hour" for drinks between 9 and 11 pm. Great idea. You can sit outside near the pool ,entertained my good music. The hotel-rooms are in the main-building and in a second house nearby, very closed to the main building. One power-failure appeared, they have diesel engines, so after a few... More

Nice clean and relatively new hotel. Very close to beach (150 m). Nice, touristy area of town. Actually not in Ayvalik but in a village about 5 minutes south. Important for bus travel. Puts a real emphasis on pricey room service -- emphasizes that food/beverages brought from outside would be subject to room service charge. Meal hours for dinner were... More

Brand new hotel in Sarimsakli, right on the beach. Make sure to get the all inclusive package, the dinner buffet is a treat! Breakfast is Turkish, so travellers who expect "full continental" will find that it's different than in the north. Good food though. Friendly staff, always helpful. Limited English skills, but the reception staff speaks OK English.

It was our first vacation in Turkey. Hotel is new, located in the small town Sarimsakli, about 15 minutes from the center, at the quiet part of the town. Only street divides hotel from the spacious sandy beach. A boy, working at the hotel`s bar on the beach, was trying so much to make us comfortable stay on the beach.... More

Grand elegant hotel that is not totally finished. There is a tower behind the hotel that is still in concrete though we heard no construction noise. Our room looked out over the Aegean Sea and you can't beat that. It's several kilometers from the main part of town, so you would need a cheap cab ride into town. The rooms... More

We arrived late afternoon having not prior-booked any accom. This was the first hotel we walked past but didn`t initially go in as we thought it would be way out of our league. We went into about another 5 hotels but were less than impressed and finally decided to go back to check out the Cinar. So glad we did.... More

We had travelled through Ayvalik the week before and this hotel wasn't open. When we returned they'd been open just three days. We had a lovely southwest facing room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very nice. The major downside was that the aircon wasn't efficient. We had to leave one key in the slot and even after 6... More
