We were a bit concerned when we arrived late at night as to where the taxi driver was taking us. It is a bit out of town but the local buses make it very easy to commute into town. We stayed here for 4 nights. The gardens and pool areas are really lovely with lots of private spots to sit... More

Thank you for your review.Bakkhos guesthouse is built authentic, so with one summer stone walls, typical for here and other Mediterrean areas. We tell our guests friendly in our welcome letter saying that we are located in this verandah setting and be aware ot that, not to make too much noice to eachother. Bakkhos guesthouse is a hotel-system not a... More

Bakkhos is a real gem in the countryside. The accommodation is excellent, the grounds are beautifully set out with lots of secluded private spaces, the pool is great and the overall design is a triumph. The breakfast and communal meals, which feature great local cuisine, are generous and Manuela and her staff are extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The communal... More

I didn't expect to love this place as much as I did. Yes, it's off the beaten path, but that's part of its charm. The rooms are adorable, all of the little paths and alcoves make you feel like you're on an island, community dinner in the "white room" was over the top - loved this place. Also the staff... More

This property is a little hard to find, but well worth the effort. It has a large grounds with several private seating areas and a fabulous host and staff who set the standard for service. Breakfast is delicious and the optional dinners were great. The rooms are rustic in style, but very clean and comfortable. The whole experience is very... More

Yes, Bakkhos is a little difficult to find as it is not situated on a mainroad. But from the mainroad right handsided in the hills on a country side road going "inland " to Kirazli village. It is only 3.5 kms away from the mainroad behind Kusadasi Our web site gives good explanation, on Google Earth we are good mentioned.... More

We stayed at Bakkhos Guest House back in April, and really enjoyed our time here. Bakkhos comprises a number of isolated guest wings, a beautiful indoor dining room and separate outdoor dining areas, all set amongst beautiful gardens with a sparkling pool, and not a neighbouring building in sight. Our room was magnificent, roomy and well decorated, with a veranda... More

When you arrive at Bakkhos you notice the quiteness, the beautifull environment while you are so close to Kusadasi. The next thing you experience is the warm welcome by the Bakkhos staff, for instance Mutlu, or the owner Manuela. A path leads you through the garden, lucious plants and trees, to the rooms. The rooms are very 'homely' with good... More

The ideal guest for Bakkhos is one that will come in, stay and relax in the lovely hotel grounds (which has a truly astonishing number of small little hideyholes for quiet reading and relaxation), and buy food and drinks from their menu ("No outside food or drink allowed"). To me this captures both the pros and cons of Bakkhos. Personally... More

Thank you for your comments/ We think it is very normal in a small guesthouse setting with a hotel-room system, not aparts, that we have the wish not to have drinks and food from outside. We are a small place , only 12 rooms on a private property together with its family living with 7 staff-members to keep up the... More

Manuela has created a very special place. The rooms, gardens and various outdoor seating areas wouldn't look out of place in a glossy magazine. The staff could not be more attentive and nothing is too much trouble. It's definitely worth eating there some evenings, not just for the quality of the food but for the opportunity to meet fellow travellers. Manuela... More
