We booked Bakkhos Guesthouse based on the overwhelming reviews here on TA for our family for three nights, 2 adults, a 5 year old, and 3 year old. While there were parts of our stay that were excellent, there are a few others that were average at best. The positives we encountered have been stated here many times...friendly staff, very... More

A garden paradise overlooking vineyards minutes away from the bustle of Kusadasi. Bliss to come home to after days out seeing Ephesus, Selcuk and Pamukkele, bliss to relax in the gardens by the pool. Manuela has created a beautifully decorated haven for travellers and was an absolutely wonderful hostess. For 5 nights we were treated to smiling staff, large beautiful... More

We spent two nights at this property in June - rather too short. The pictures do not really even remotely capture the wonderful garden setting of this guest house, and the rooms and terraces are decorated with so much love for detail - splendid. The pool is smaller than it looks on the pics, but big enough to have a... More

Thank you for your contribution. Concerning the Internet/wifi, yes you were right, that the wifi was not working 100% that time. As they are working on the mainroad of Kusadasi, we had some problems also later with our WiFi Sometimes the signal is 'frozen' at the Ipad s or Iphone s and then we have to reset the box once... Spent a fantastic relaxing week at Bakkhos in May 2013 and highly recommend it. Loved our room with its own terrace, the beautiful gardens, super clean swimming pool, best of all loved breakfast outside and the communal dinners sitting in the fabulous dining room getting to know the other guests whilst being served authentic Turkish cuisine by the smiling friendly... We chose Bakkhos Guesthouse first of all because we wanted to stay close to Ephesus but not in a busy seaside resort like Kusadasi itself. Bakkhos Guesthouse is in the countryside and seemed the right choice. Maybe it is not the easiest place to find the first time, possibly as there were at the time of our arrival major road... More

Thank you very much! Yes the road behind the city of Kusadasi is still under construction and coming in from Izmir there is no road sign telling where Kirazli village is, so I have to send every guest by email a good instruction. The other side , coming in from Selcuk=Camlik is over teh countryside is perhaps better to choose.... More

We spent nearly 3 weeks in Germany before traveling first to Istanbul and then to the Ionian coast. Bakkhos was an island of quiet, caring and efficient service -- tucked away in the countryside. We were a bit concerned when we arrived late at night as to where the taxi driver was taking us. It is a bit out of town but the local buses make it very easy to commute into town. We stayed here for 4 nights. The gardens and pool areas are really lovely with lots of private spots to sit... More

Bakkhos is a real gem in the countryside. I didn't expect to love this place as much as I did. Yes, it's off the beaten path, but that's part of its charm. The rooms are adorable, all of the little paths and alcoves make you feel like you're on an island, community dinner in the "white room" was over the top - loved this place. Also the staff... More
