The hotel is pleasant, but in desperate need of a facelift. The reception is very welcoming, and creates a good atmosphere for the hotel. Once you leave the reception area things are a bit mediocre. The room was comfortable and spacious, but a bit 1980s in its decor. The bathroom was clean, but there were many cracked tiles. The shower... More

The dining area was breathtaking. We sat under a roof with the dining area open to the harbor. The lights sparkled, especially the cruise ships docked across the harbor. Our room had a spectacular view to the north from the balcony. Staff was very helpful and spoke excellent english.

Interesting place, not certain what to think. It's certainly a little past it's prime however the location is very good, on a peninsula, but within walking distance to town. The memorabilia on the walls hark back to a grander time. All rooms have balconies with great water views. Rooms however are sparsely furnished and not in the best of taste.... More

I loved this hotel, because you have a spectacular landscape. You may have a dinner from the terrace of the hotel and appreciate the more fantastic sunset . It' amazing! If you like, you could have a good time swimming or diving in a private beach. Don't miss it.

Fantastic location by the sea on a private "island" with old world charm. Everything is a bit dated but just lovely and relaxing with excellent, fast and friendly service and stunning views. Wonderful value I can only highly recommend.

The Kismet's location on the sea is just perfect--lush gardens, expansive views out to sea, beautiful sunsets from the terrace--all make this a perfect location. Tough the hotel rooms are a bit dated and the bathrooms could use a bit of sprucing, they were nevertheless spacious, clean, and comfortable. A short walk into the center of town and you are... More

My wife and I checked into Kismet a few weeks ago, after I had been released from hospital for a brain injury. It was just the best place to recover, it's stunning to look at, the rooms are immaculate and the ambience and history of the hotel set it miles apart from anywhere else I've ever stayed. The views are... More

First impressions of the Kismet are excellent, an entrance thought lush gardens, a huge comfortable lobby with a parrot in the corner, seats a plenty. It is going back to a leisurely style of life. The staff are polite and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite of ample size (we were a party of three) with a balcony overlooking... More

My husband and I stayed at Kismet for one night recently. We loved our experience. We were given a room with a sea view and a balcony which is the perfect place to watch the beautiful sunset. The room was renovated which is very important for us. I am not sure if my experience would have been so great if... More
