First impression was rather interesting. a lobby full of artifacts of a bygone period, rather inresting if you like museums, but nothing recent. I found the service rather detached like we did not belong there or have any titles. Location was workable, you could walk to the city centre or some restaurants with a bit more atmosphere and then steps... More

While the location was awesome, the age was telling on this place. Views were the best part. Breakfast and service staff left something to be desired, in my opinion. There was a dirty ashtray in my supposedly non-smoking room, and there were crumbs on the floor from a prior guest that I had to ask twice to have cleaned up.... More

Our tour group stayed at the Kismet. We had two nights. I was twin sharing and had a balcony room that while there were trees in front we had a lovely view to the right. We loved our room, it was a large and spacious and the lovely large marble bathroom was wonderful. The reception staff were lovely and helpful.... More

You will never forget this hotel. It is older than many of the other hotels that covet this location I am sure. Breakfast needs some help but other than that you'll love it. Dinner on the veranda is spectacular. Grounds are spellbinding.

We stayed for 4 days at the beginning of October. Very reasonably priced. We were on the harbor side, 4th floor, so our balcony had a full view of the harbor, cruise ships and the fort. Large and comfortable room... much larger than anything in Europe. After a hard day of touring the local Ionian ruins, a nice snack in... More

When you enter the hotel's reception area the first thing you notice is its picture wall with photographs of the rich & famous who stayed at the hotel in the 1960's. I very much doubt whether you will see any celebrities or European Royals staying there now. Our room, including its color scheme & furnishings, looked as though nothing had... More

This charming hotel is perched on a cliff overlooking the Aegean on one side and the marina and town of Kusadasi on the other. The grounds are beautiful and you can follow the steps down and swim in the beautiful Aegean Sea. We were there in early October when the season was over and were upgraded and had a room... More

Faded glamor, indeed. Completely agree with the previous reviewer. We stayed in the room 203 overlooking the harbor. The room was spacious and appeared to have been updated . They apparently converted two very small rooms into one. We had 2 bathrooms, 2 closets and 2 balconies. In addition to previous comments, there is no safe in the room. We... More

The Kismet must have once been THE place to stay in Kusdasi and sadly is resting on its laurels. Set on an isthmus, surrounded by trees and sea it has the best location of any hotel in the town. BUT it is in need of an overhaul. There is considerable charm in the photos of Princess Ann and the Queen... More

This luxury boutique hotel is charming and comes with a wonderful history. While we were not lucky enough to stay here overnight, we got to experience their incredible restaurant. The service, food and local entertainment made this the highlight of our day in Ephesus and Kusadasi. It is definitely on my list of hotels that I want to return to.
