Excellent location. You can easily reach anywhere in Kusadasi by foot (or a 5 minute minibus ride to reach Ladies Beach). The hotel is really beautiful and has a inspiring architecture, with a incredible courtyard. Helpful staff. However, breakfast started almost an hour after the stated time (everyday). The courtyard is used to host a Turkish night dinner and show... More

I stood in awe of the structure before me-this was just to be a short stay, convenient for our early morning ferry ride to the Greek island of Patmos. So not much thought was put into selecting this hotel. I loved the view of the central courtyard from out side our room, imagining what had taken place years ago. The... More

We had visited Kusadasi just over 20 years ago, so as a birthday surprise, my husband booked us in for a weeks holiday at the Caravanserail. Definitely one of his best decisions! The hotel itself is simply oozing with genuine historical charm. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with a private bathroom, air-conditioning, telephone, tv, small fridge, kettle and... This place used to be for travelers 400 years ago- just like now. In those days, caravans travelled with their goods and animals, which were placed in the central courtyard, surrounded by fortress-like walls for protection. Now, they take your car away and the same courtyard is used as a restaurant -with beautiful hand-made carpets all around. The walls in... More

It looks like a castle and so the first image has huge impact - like stepping into a bygone era. The staff were helpful. Location central. Breakfast very traditional and tasty. You need to able to climb high steps - giant ones to get up to the rooms and there is no lift - worth it though.

This Hotel is just across the street from the water and close to shopping and restaurants. Our room was fabulous with a huge sitting room and very large bedroom, the bath was a little small but very doable. The furniture was period furnishing, that fit just perfectly. It was quiet and convenient. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The history on the hotel is really neat. The location was great...right in the center of everything. The room was spacious and clean. The rooms/hotel is pretty old...there was a little bit of dark moldy areas on the bathroom tile. The bathroom shower was VERY small. If you're a large person you'll have a... More

Stayed here for the final 2 days of our stay in Kusadasi, after leaving our 5* resort; I must say it was amazing. Caravanserail means Caravan palace, it's an old place where traders use to come and sell there goods. Now the courtyard is filled with lush palms and small individual shops placed inside the unique coves. Breakfast takes place... More

We stayed for a single night in February 2013. The hotel was very quiet and there was no noise issue. Initially, we were given a smoking room, which the manager readily exchange to a non- smoking on request. We found this unique property to be clean, especially the bathroom. The heater in our room ran constantly set at 30 C... More

Separate reviews are written there. These two entries should be combined. I also posted one there back in August. We liked staying there as did our kids. Kusadasi not that great of a destination itself- like most cheesy beach resorts but location convenient to many sights and this hotel interestingly different.
