We arrived at the Emirhan after travelling for eight hours with two young children. The reception wasn't particularly friendly especially when they realised we were English. They photocopied all our passports including the children and required our address and personal details and more worryingly my husbands signature. When i fist arrived in Turkey i was transported by a mini bus to my first hotel Gazi Pasha Star in Side, DO NOT GO THERE, after paying for a 4 star hotel and a journey that should have taken an hour and a half but took 3 hours we arrived at a hotel that looked more like 1 star.... more

We had the impression that the management of the hotel took all possible situation to save costs on behalf of the tourists: clim was not working well, cold everywhere inhouse, cold water in pool, poor quality in sanitar. Despite all the bad reviews, this place isn't so bad. I wouldn't recommend it however to families with children, unless you are russian, as the hotel is probably of a 95% russian clientele.
