My daughter and I wanted a cheap last minute weekend in Side, a town we know well. We booked this little hotel online, and were delighted. it was spotlessly clean, and perfectly comfortable. The owner appeared in the morning to prepare a typical Turkish breakfast, and then disappeared for the rest of the day, leaving us with a front door key.

The location was lovely; right on the public beach in old Side, within minutes of the main street. The mosque is very close, so there is an early morning call.

The only slight drawback is that, after dark, it is quite an isolated walk back if you are on your own. Apart from that, at £10 a night, we would highly recommend it. more
