Stayed in this so called 5* resort with my family of 5 & my friends family of 5....It is no way a 5* resort instead it's more like a city 3* hotel. The management has got it totally wrong. The staff aren't treated well you can see it in their body language, several members of staff pointed to the hotel manager Mr.Argun... We booked 2 family rooms here for 3 days for 6 children and 4 adults. After having a wonderful 5 days at the Selgey Beach Resort and Spa (5 * and recommended highly) the Lyra is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The standard of the rooms in comparison is definitely a lot lower and the hotel service was very... More

I had surpassingly good experience with this hotel. It was an exception going there following the group of friends as normally I don't do big resort hotels – and it proved rather decent for its kind. Well, the room on the 2nd floor was facing the parking lot – however, it was quiet at night and good a/c. The room is spacious... More

We stayed with two children who loved the place. Very good food. Almost too much. However keep to the beer and avoid the wine if you are travelling "all included". The only negative aspect with the hotel is that most of the staff likes to talk German rather than English. I will certainly return to this hotel

We stayed in this hotel in the summer of last year (2012) with our 2 kids and had a good time. The room we stayed in (5th floor) was large and had a wonderful view. The room was not new and could use some TLC but it was very clean. Yes, it was crowded but what can one expect in... More

Very good hotel. A lot of space in the room. Magnificient spa and very nice massages (at very good price) 2 min from sea Breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. It's just too far away from city center but a very good place to relax.

We went to Lyra in march 2012. Weather was not great and neither was location as it was in the middle of nowhere, that is no problem if you just want a beach relaxing holiday but no good if you want to explore. Hotel was beautiful only downfall too many germans and english not a known language. Food was ok... More

We stayed at the Lyra a week in April 2011. I brought my two children, my parents and another couple with a child. The week before we had stayed at the neighboring hotel Aska Washington with my mother in law. This means that I may, to some extent compare hotels more than you should. We had a great room with...
