No doubt, the hotel is beautiful: The rooms, the location, the restaurant, garden and of course, spa. However the service as simply dreadful. It started even BEFORE I arrived!
I was meeting up with my girlfriend at the hotel who had reserved the room in her name (as a package with her flight) and was scheduled to arrive at the hotel several hours after her.
Unfortunately, there was a delay in my first flight so I called the Turkiz hotel from the airport in Amsterdam to relay a message to her. The desk help said they had no one there by that name. I repeated and even said when she was arriving (at this time, she should have been there).
I went on to suggest checking reservations - it's possible she hadn't checked in yet. Nothing. Okay, now I'm anxious! I know it's the correct hotel, I spelled out her name, my name, every detail possible. I then asked them to leave a message for her if she called or checked in explaining I would be late. He...
