A very basic room, but with full working A/C and hot water, a lovely rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view and excellent night time barbecues and mezze. The family was very helpful and friendly, and the place was spotless. What more could you ask for at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

This place is a clean and budget accomodation. Staff is always helpful. Breakfast could be considered rich and delicious. Many dishes are home made. Rooms are clean and air conditioned. Everything you would expect from such a place...

I arrived pretty stressed out and within half an hour I felt much more relaxed. Ates is nicely situated with lovely views over the sea and a few minutes walk from the bustling centre of town. Thankfully far enough away to be able to have peace to sleep. The family are charming and go out of their way to help... More

We arrived in Kas during Bayram, the big Turkish holiday, without plans and predictably couldn't find a place to stay. We finally stumbled upon Ates and though it cost more than we expected, the prices were raised everywhere during that weekend and it was certainly not prohibitively expensive. The family who runs the hostel is very nice and accommodating. The... More

Ates Pension was an excellent choice for our recent 6 night stay in Kas. The rooms are extremely basic - but then, you don't go to Kas to sit in your room, and it was clean which is the most important thing. The air conditioner was great and the room stayed nice and cool while we were out during the... More

Spent 3 nights here recently, and had a pleasant stay. Our room was small and not in the best shape. Might have been better to book much earlier and request a better room (one with a view, anyway). But the AC worked really well, and we slept well. The roof deck is lovely, and breakfast buffet is excellent, with fresh... More

Typical simple pansion in Kaş, if you don't need comfort but acceptable price, its fine. Be ready to pay cash because no credit card accepted. Check-out time is 10:30 but landlady is very helpfull, she bring us to the terminal with her own car.

We have been coming to Ates Pension for long time. We tried several other ones before and found this family owned, cozy pension the best!! Everyone knows Recep Abi, the owner, around the area. If you are interested in diving and paragliding, he would call those places and arrange it for you...perhaps with a discounted amount! The breakfast is open... More

We booked here as we were arriving from Istanbul after a whole day of travel and wanted somewhere clean and comfortable away from the centre of town. The room was big with a comfy bed and plenty of storage space. Wifi signal was good and speedy. Our laundry was done within 24 hours at a fair price. Breakfast, a buffet, was... More

After driving all day from Antalya, we pulled into Kas and the place we wanted was full. So i hopped into Ates and the owner showed me a couple of rooms and then walked back to the car with me to get my other bags. He showed us where to safely park, too. We spent three nights. The room had... More
