The best ever hotel we stayed in. Where to start: Welcome mocktails on arrival, The friendliest staff that we have come across while travelling in Turkey. Breakfast is to die for , the cocktails are splendid made from home grown fruits and veges, the bar tender splendid, the staff all speak English. The rooms are so clean it is unbelievable.... More

What a relatively small gem we found, friends had recommended Kalkan as a quiet and relaxed port on the coast. It is a lovely town, lots of hilly streets ,good for exercise, and some of the best restaurants we have experienced, Great fresh fish and possibly the best fillet steak dinner we have found in our travels. The Hotel Kalkan provided... More

We spent a week in late September here for my wife's birthday and had an excellent time on my first visit to Turkey. The hotel itself isn't brand new and perhaps could do with a bit of a spruce up but it's very comfortable and has a very pleasant authentic Mediterranean feel! Our room on the 2nd floor was huge... We booked this hotel via our travel agent (Haslemere Travel) and handed over alot of money as it was our honeymoon. What we got was a very very tired room in a very tired looking hotel (probably not helped by the fact that it was in the last day of the season so all the staff were winding down). The... More

Our first visit to Turkey and chose Kalkan as our travel consultant daughter-in-law had been herself. The reviews of the staff here do not exaggerate their friendliness but the service was outstanding from all. Good choice at breakfast and the lunches were fantastic. We chose the cheapest room as how much time do you spend in your room? Good value... More

We had our second trip to the Asfiya Hotel recently and were as happy the second time as we were the first. Yes the hotel may be a little tired in places with some interesting plumbing but it is in a beautiful location with a lovely pool and the staff team cannot do enough for you to make sure you... My husband and I, have been to The Asfiya twice in the last couple of years, and having just recently returned we had a great holiday. staff are excellent, helpful, friendly and make you feel so welcome. Rooms are adequate and pleasant, we had a room facing the road at the front of the hotel, but no problems with noise... More

We booked a 10 day holiday to Kalkan via Discerning Collection. Hotel is very nice but a little tired in places. Lots of good things ...staff were very helpful and friendly ..beautiful pool area, quiet, lots of very comfortable sunbeds, super breakfast (except for the coffee !) and generally very clean indeed. A few minor niggles hence not giving it... More

Why people rave about this hotel I have no idea. It's 3 star at best and unless you have a room away from the road (of which there are few) a good nights sleep is impossible. We asked to be moved the minute we were shown to our room. From the response of the rep and the hotel manager this... More

Just spent a week here with friends and I am pleased to report that I have NO negatives from any aspect of our stay. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the front of the hotel overlooking the read but with lovely views of the sea. No road noise at night with windows closed and air conditioning on. I... More
