Stayed at Lizo hotel for 2 wks from 24 Aug 2014 it is absolutely spotless, cannot fault all staff or owners Ali and Sarah and Mehmet. Food is excellent and very reasonably priced also bar prices are good too. Hotel is situated at the top of an incline however both my husband, who is 71yrs and myself 66yrs, did not... More

Stayed here with my husband. Room small but very clean. Breakfast is taken on the rooftop terrace with beautiful views of Kalkan. They have a BBQ one night one a week which was very good. kalkan is very hilly and the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill taking about 10-15 minutes to walk into the village... More

I'm a bit late in writing this review, however our seventh visit to the Lizo in July was just as good as our first. Yes the rooms are small and basic, but they are also spotlessly cleaned by the same cleaner each year ( which says a lot if the staff are happy to work there) and more than adequate,... More

Had a fantastic 2 week holiday at the lizo hotel. What an absolute gem of a hotel. The whole team of people there from the owners Ali and Sarah to the cleaners and not forgetting Ali's dad who does the most amazing barbecue were brilliant. the rooms were spotlessly clean as was the pool area. Ali and Sarah were perfect... More

Stayed at the Lizo again for a week last month, Ali and Sarah are great hosts, hotel is very Turkish style with wooden flooring and 3 levels to the rooftop restaurant and bar, the view is the best in Kalkan and there is even a Turkish resting area with large cushions to relax. Anything you need is here, Lovely people,... More

Really enjoyed my time in kalkan but won't be returning to the lizo hotel, terrible hospitality from the owners, if you don't spend money at the hotel they don't speak to you, Ali's mood was different every time we seen him, the other owner Sarah couldn't even say hello to us.

We loved Kalkan, it is the nicest holiday destination we have ever visited. The hotel itself is small and friendly. The other guests are very friendly and it made our holiday a bit more special meeting new friends- something you might not get in a much larger hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and of a good size. Our wet... More

Having read the review dated 18 th July 2014 I felt I had to reply. My wife and I have been going to Kalkan for 24 years. Our only regret is that we did not find the Lizo hotel earlier. Yes the hotel is on the small side but the friendliness and customer care offered is second to none.Ali, his... More
