The hotel has 13 rooms that tumble down and across the hillside just outside of Kalkan. They are mixture of individual rooms and suites all of which have great views. There is a reasonable size infinity pool. Stayed here for a week last year. We couldn't fly on the dates offered by exclusive escapes, so booked directly through the hotel, which was easy and efficient. Coming from the Deniz Feneri Lighthouse in Kas, the Villa Mahal seemed much more intimate and boutiquey. Like the Lighthouse, the Villa Mahal has lots of sunbathing platforms scattered along the coastline, but they have a more private feel than the newer Lighthouse. My husband and i went to Villa Mahal for a 3 night break at the end of our weeks holiday in Turkey and had the most amazing time. Villa Mahal is a beautiful hotel with great views of the Kalkan bay and a very nice swimming pool.
