We are not so interested in going on a charter tour with a lot of other tourists. Therefor this was a very nice surprise; you got it all. A picturesque hotel, very nice, clean and a good pool area, in old town but also close to the modern city, which was fresh and clean and more genuine than we had... more

We arrived in Antalya and headed for the old town - there were lots of hotels with rooms to spare so we were spoilt for choice. We looked at a number of rooms but this hotel was by far the nicest we saw - (not to say that we wouldn't have found better if we had continued to look). It... more

The hotel is perfect for exploring Antalya, especially the old town and harbour. The varied breakfasts include spanish omlettes cooked to order , other hot food, cereals, bread, dried fruits and cheese/salads. You can eat and drink as much as you like in the courtyard under the trees. Buffet-style dinner is available for 10 euros . There is a lovely sunny... more

Centrally located in old town. We had a suite which I booked by accident- not reading the online form closely enough so be careful. Very spacious two rooms with balcony. My only complaint would be the bedding. The blanket/coverlet was smaller than the bed ie: it did not go over sides of the bed as they do in USA. As... more

Chose the Hotel Dogan based on Tripadvisor reviews. It is very well placed for exploring the picturesque old town of Antalya. The hotel gardens and buildings are beautiful and very much in the Ottoman character of the city. The swimming pool is hidden from view of the street so it makes a nice surprise when you go through the archway... more

Picturesque hotel, traditional rooms with beautiful wooden ceilings, lovely courtyard, and a very good restaurant. Mid-sized hotel which doesn´t seem frequented by large groups. Had no complaints, except that we couldn´t get any rice pudding! Bring your wireless instrument because there is no business center or computer. more

We stayed at the Dogan Hotel in Antalya for 2 nights as part of our OAT tour of Turkey, from Sep 28-29, 2008. Antalya and the Dogan was a place we would have loved to have stayed a week. The rooms were charming and spacious in a fantastic Ottoman decor, even if the shower was a little idiosyncratic and the... more

Just returned from a 14 night stay at the Dogan which although I enjoyed I think was a bit too long and probably 10 nights would have been better. Still, it was a lovely hotel although reception staff did tend to be rather officious. Breakfast selection of food was excellent, we did not try evening meal at the hotel as... more

The Dogan is in a good situation and close to a nice but small beach / Jetty affair and without any disco music - The main beach in Antalya you are unable to escape the noise of the disco bars! Hateful. The food in the Hotel was tasty and reasonably varied - fair amount of meat balls and sausagey stuff.... more

Sweet hotel, lovely little pool, good location near the old harbor in Antalya. Best was that when we had to leave early in the morning before breakfast, they packed a lunch for us! Antalya is a little too developed for my taste but we used it as a launch point to the ocean - flew into Antalya, drove to Cirali,... more
