We booked 2 rooms, for 3 nights to get our holiday off to a relaxing start. The beds were extremely comfortable, good hot showers. Wifi a bit hit and miss in the room, but the staff soon sorted this for us. An excellent breakfast, with lots of choice. It is ideally situated in the old town. It has a lovely... More

We chose this hotel for its location in the old town. Access is quite difficult due to traffic restrictions and parking possibilities at the hotel very limited. Rooms are OK even if relatively small, but the prices are highly competitive for a very decent location. Breakfast buffet was acceptable. Staff was not particularly friendly and quite suspicious especially for the... More

We booked room for 2 adults and 2 kids, 4 and 11 years old. In the room there were 2 separate single beds, one couch and a baby cot. The baby cot was too short for our boy and we asked to remove it. The couch was not suitable for two kids, neither it was possible to move the two... More

What a gem. A beautiful, we'll equipped room (we requested a balcony in advance which we were given). Lovely location in the old town. Lots going on in the area, local shops, restaurants (especially on the aptly named Umbrella Street). The bazaar is fun if you are happy to barter. Staff at hotel all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast very... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here in May we had a fabulous time here for our two night stay. The pool area is beautiful and very relaxed and our room had a big comfortable bed and very well appointed bathroom. Breakfast is very good with lots of choice from the buffet and also a chefs area where you can order... More

Stayed at the Dogan from 2nd to 9th July we had a great time the hotel is fine, clean and tidy. The hotel gave us on arrival a choice of 2 rooms we ended up in the gods with low beams in room 149 but we managed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and having breakfast and dinner... More

We had a fantastic time at the Dogan. A wonderful, spacious, clean, quiet room. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. Its in a great position. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. And the pool came in handy as it was blistering hot!

We didn't stay at this hotel but we ate here twice, once for lunch and again for dinner, the food was brilliant both times. I would defiantly recommend it for the A la carte menu. The service was a little slow considering it wasn't so busy, however that doesn't matter so much when you are on holiday :)

Attractive mid size hotel. Rooms fairly average but good location with added benefit of being able to reserve a free car parking space in the heart of old town - Kaleici. Free toiletries also a bonus and they were replenished each day. One issue we had was that although we had a double bed the sheets were two singles which... More

Sadly our first breakfast at the Dogan was horrendous. Stale and mouldy bread on offer and other options clearly not fresh. The 'chef' clearly was being disturbed by having to make an omlette. Ingredients chunkily chopped and just added to broken eggs. The staff were rather nonchalant about the situation. The 'omlette' did however provide us with a good laugh.... More
