We stayed at Hotel Barbarossa for 3 nights, and it was heaven. The room with a balcony was spectacular, with beautiful sunrises waking us up in the mornings. It has several levels leading down to the sea where you can swim, and they even had a canoe we could use. The service was great also. The only problem was the costs that mounted up that we weren't expecting when we received the bill. Orange juice and coffee with breakfast are extras you pay (a lot!) for, for example. You are also asked to not eat or drink anything not purchased from the hotel, not even in your hotel room, which we felt was a bit much really. We would have loved to stay longer, but we felt it was simply too expensive once all this was added up, which is a real shame. more
