Stayed here for a couple of weeks in September 2014. Just me and the wife. Remember Port El Kantaoui is a manufactured resort just for the tourists. Been there quite a few years but there's no history to the place, no old town or village. Quite a few shops and restaurants but little else. The Royal Kenz is a four... More

Just back from yet another great two weeks at the Kenz. Bit of a problem with the room at first but sorted next day. Staff all lovely as always. The hotel was VERY busy which resulted in long queues at the bars, lack of sunbeds and lack of seats inside and out after dinner. Many people up at daft o'clock reserving... More

Into our second week at this wonderful hotel, feeling like a prince with his princess.Never have I known as much care and attention from ALL the staff, chambermaibs up to front desk. Sure look hard enough and there are one or two "worn patches" but it would be unfair to criticise this VERY busy hotel. Will consider returning very soon.... More

Just returned from our holiday at the Royal Kenz for 2 weeks: Arrived on Sunday 14th Sept at 8:30pm, on arrival we were given a registration form to fill in & then a welcome drink too which was a nice touch, we collected our bands that we needed to wear & our room key card & 2 towel cards. While... More

Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean in public areas but not in the rooms, these are the laziest chambermaids I have ever come across, they did only the basic cleaning, debris from a new hair dyer being installed was in the bathroom for the duration of holiday, nothing ever moved on any surface in the bedroom or bathroom to be cleaned, we... Just back from the royal kenz and had a brilliant time. It was our first experience of an all inclusive holiday and thought we got pretty good value for money. The hotel is only a 30 minute bus transfer from the airport which is good after a long flight. The food was ok my boyfriend really enjoyed it but for... More

Just returned from a very relaxing 2 weeks at this large complex. The room was clean and kept that way by hard working maids. As we were not in a Thomson's " superior " room, tea and coffee were not readily provided unless we paid a waiter who came around knocking on room doors at about 4pm.The loungers around the... More

I'll write this review by chapters, if you may read it : Infrastructure : The hotel is a real LABYRINTH. It is enormous and the slightest check to your room, provided you don't specifically ask for a room 'close' to THE (yes THE) elevator will take you between 5 and 10 minutes. For example we had a Mezzanine room and... More

Absolutely amazing entertainment team , lots of variety' something for everyone. The couples spa was unbelievable so relaxing would recommend for any couple. The hotel had a world class choice of food, including theme nights such as Italian, French, Indian and Tunisia. The only down side was to wait three hours when we first arrived for our room to be...
