Stayed for one week in March with elderly mother. Our rooms didn't get any sun at any time of the day. There was no WiFi at all for most of the week, no telephone at all and the tv didn't work. They changed the room for my mother when we complained about it being dark but then we had problems... More

As many of the reviews say the Hotel is very tired , but Tunisia has suffered badly recession wise and is very noticeable if you pop along to Souse derelict hotels line the front , the Caruso is a very quiet hotel ideal for a relaxing break for me a little too quiet at night , the staff however were... We had a bit of a disaster on the second night with water pouring from the ceiling at 3am however it was a burst pipe which could not be helped. Somebody rushed up to help us remove our things and escorted us to a better room. Gorgeous rooms, gorgeous grounds. I will revisit!

When reading some of the reviews on here, we were worried about what we had gotten ourselves into. Do not worry if you have already booked to stay here, we had a lovely time and I would definitely go back. I will admit the first impressions were not the best - but if you give it a chance you will... More

I would like to commend the staff at Caruso, they were all very helpful and pleasant! I had read some previous reviews prior to going, which frankly may of been over the top. This place is really just for couples who want to chill out with kids being around. The pool, bar and beech are lovely and the food is... More

This was our first trip to Tunisia (April 2015) and we (my husband and I) booked our trip with Thomas Cook. The brochure stated that the Caruso Hotel was a 4 star hotel based in an opulent marina setting. However when we arrived we were disappointed to find that the hotel was actually located in an area that was a... More

We visited this hotel again between Christmas 2014 up to 5th January 2015. Once again, we had a large room with a comfy bed, large bath tub, TV with a couple of English channels and clean towels every day. I love that it is adults only, I like peace and quiet to recharge the batteries and we met some lovely... More

Just arrived back home 2 days ago from this hotel, really don't know why people choose to be so petty about the slightest thing, the hotel is spotless, maids are cleaning everyday for very little wages, waiters cant do enough for you and work long hours everyday again for very little. They don't expect tips but when they are given... More

We booked this hotel as a last minute holiday with Thomas Cook. The reviews were mixed photos looked lovely and our rep had said the area was lovely. When we arrived it literally looked like a scene from inbetweeners the hotel from outside was run down looking and smelt. Inside was better. We were shown to our room which was... More
