Our room was a little sparse but other than that I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the staff were extremely friendly especially the Dining room staff. The food was varied and quite nice but if you only like british food then you would find it limited. The swimming pool was very nice and it is no wonder that they... more

Not our choice when we booked the holiday but the alternative when we were transferred from the Royal Kenz because of the building work. It would still not be our choice. The rooms were clean and reasonably decorated (although very dated) and had hot water all the time. Not all rooms were blessed with continuous hot water. Our room overlooked... more

After reading reviews about the Marahaba Palace on the trip advisor i was anxious about the hotel. I need not have worried. Rooms lovely bed comfortable. Tv with entertaining movies in english great for evening viewing. Air conditioning in working order keeping us cool when needed not too noisey could be kept on at night. I had only booked bed... more

We arrived at the Maharba Palace hotel after a late night transfer from Monastir airport. The coach was comfortable and air conditioned and the tranfer to the hotel took about 40 minutes. On arrival at the hotel we had to fill in a number of forms which took a long time. We intended for all of our groups rooms to... more

Observed from outside, Marhaba Palace Hotel looked like a 5 star hotel to me. However, once inside it was a different story. We found cockroaches in our room, the food was truly horrendous and there was absolutely no atmosphere in the hotel. Most of the tourists in the hotel were older German coupleswho were there usual snobby selves. The hotel... more

The hotel itself is of a four star standard but the rooms are more 3 star. We have just returned, the weather was 22 in the day but chilly at night, the heating only worked in some parts of the hotel. I had no problems changing money except when changing Dinars back to Pounds, I was charged more commission than... more

Back today from spending 1 week at the Marhaba Palace hotel PeK. My first impressions of Tunisia after dropping people off at Sousse was somewhat hanging in the balance hoping that Port el Kantoaui was going to be better. Thankfully it was. This place is much nicer than its surroundings with a very pleasant quayside where we experienced a good... more

It was not our first time in Tunisia, having visited the country on two previous occassions both staying in hotels and in 2006 we sailed around much of the coast. My comments are not directed at either the country its culture of its people. We expected a good hotel. Firstly we were given a musty room ground floor overlooking the... more

The hotel is impressive, great facilities. The staff were marvellous and go out of their way to make an effort with the children. The food wasn't at all bad, and even better it's pretty cheap to dine out elsewhere if you fancy a change. I'd have to say, I'd love to see some of those complaining about this hotel finding... more
