A few shops outside hotel and four bars and restaurants otherwise nothing to see and do unless you get a taxi which us cheap to do. Hotel right on small private beach which was very clean and sandy... More

My boyfriend and I spent 12 nights at the Pirates Gate Hotel and from the moment we arrived til the moment we left we both had a really enjoyable holiday. The bar staff work so hard, they were often working long hours and in the intense heat and they always had a smile for us. The kitchen staff were also... More

Its not like the photographs don't be fooled by them. Hotel needs complete modernisation, the staff are very rude, free beer only in small white plastic cups. Full of Russians no English people at all. Will never enter that Hotel again

Good value for money, yes hotel does need updating new carpets etc, but the staff are brilliant will do anything to help you. The rooms were clean and always had fresh bedding and towels everyday. Animation staff lacked enthusiasm but made up for it with trying to get everyone involved but wasn't pushy which was great. Beach and pool was... More

The worst hotel we have ever stayed in brown water and sludge coming out of the shower. No sunbeds ,terrible food ,live wires, unsafe carpets on the stairs, we had to get out ,paid extra to be moved to another hotel. The only positive was the hotel manager was very good and helped us tremendously. She arranged phone calls to... More

Rooms spacious and clean, stunning view from sea view rooms, good food, friendly staff, especially beach bar man. beach just 20 yards away, Ali Bar, and shops just across the road. The only issue I had and it wasn't with the hotel but the guests, lots of Russian and Polish, who lack manners in que's and like to help themselves... More

We were greeted with drinks on arrival and lead to a lovely, clean, spacious room which was exactly as advertised on the internet. The staff were exceptional they spoke excellent English and couldn't do enough for you. The food was enjoyable and there was a wide range... More
