My partner and I are just back from a week at the El Mansour and it was fantastic! we couldnt fault a thing. The hotel itself was absolutely gorgeous, the food was lovely - plenty of variety through out and the staff very very friendly and helpful. We will definately be returning to this hotel next year. The scenery was... more

The problem with this hotel is that it is not organised and it is biast to one dealer. Me and my family payed for a room with a pool and sea view, but when we got there they had no rooms left with a pool or sea view .. never mind the both. But as we were checking in ..... more

We relocated to the Riu after seeing El Mouradi's rooms. The Riu's rooms are much nicer and more modern. We found the hotel to have adequate food, helpful staff, and a spacious, mostly clean room. Friendly ants appeared in our room each afternoon...just passing through… A few other minor problems were easy to overlook at our off-season price (especially after... more

If you are used to Riu quality you'll be disappointed with this hotel. I've stayed at the Riu in Hammamet in Tunisia and that warrants its 4 stars but this hotel pushes hard for 3. Problems included.... Too many people, too few sunbeds. Damps patches on the room walls (2 out of the 3 rooms our party had). A poor... more

I've been meaning to write a review for almost a year now!! We paid £500 each for a week all inclusive at this hotel. The standard was very good, food excellent although we found staying all inclusive stopped us from really going out and about as everything was there for you. The room was a good size although looked out... more

Riu el mansour is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quite. The pool is large and the beach just a few steps away. The sea is turqoise and really clean despite other reviews we have read we found the beach was wonderful. If you are looking for a quite and relaxing holiday this is the place to... more

The El Mansour, part of the Riu chain, is a very clean and pleasant hotel, one could normally get a sun bed by the pool, but always on the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned well each day and the menu's different for each meal with a wide variety of food to choose from. Although the traditional... more

We stayed for one week and to be honest that was enough. There was nothing wrong with the hotel , staff or service but there was nothing to do outside of the hotel. The weather was perfect hot without being overpowering. The staff were quietely efficient. Some had limited english as the main guest population were German and French allthough... more

We stayed at this hotel 3-16 Sept 2007 based on AI basis with a pre bookable Sea View and flying with MYT from Glasgow. Flights:- Long overnight flights - the return flights several planes were "missing" and upto 48hr delays for MAN and LGW flights - we were lucky with just a 2 1/2hrs delay. Hotel:- V Good quality hotel... more

We returned yesterday from the Riu El Mansour from a weeks stay booked through Airtours. The hotel is in the outskirts of Mahdia which is an undeveloped and quiet part of Tunisia. Where to start? umm from the beginning I suppose. I'll lay everything out along the lines of our daily routine. I'm writing as much as I can as... more
