One week before leaving we booked this hotel. Reading the reviews on internet I had absolutely no idea what to expect.. But this hotel was awsome!! The people were unbelievable friendly, the room was clean (yes, it was sober, with no hair dryer or TV, but on holiday I need neither of both). The restaurant had so much choice in... More

The hotel complex is situated in a large garden. The bungalows in the hill are with sea view. Rooms are very simple, but for overnight it is enough. Safe box is in the reception area (extra charge), wi-fi in the reception area (free), beach towels (deposit). Staff is very friendly and polite - specially in the reception, bar and restaurant.... Hi all, It's cheap and what you get is ghetto. Where to start? Well the rooms sucked, old and nasty bathrooms. In our room, we had bugs in our bathroom btw (!), the closet was nasty and the rest was just plain, on the third day, the power was out en our water in the shower was brown. After talking... More

Stayed here on business for 4 nights in April. The hotel is mainly geared for French, German and Scandinavian markets, very few Brit tourists down here, although 50% of the staff speak excellent English so no problem. The complex is laid out in a holiday bungalow style. I found it clean and pleasant. The 'rooms' are minimalist, just a bed,... More

I have been there in January and I was shocked to witness the death of many cats with poison put in food!!! Most of the hotels in Djerba & Zarzis, same for the locals, use/ have cats to chase/get rid of mice/ rats! The Sangho hotel in ZARZIS is open the whole year. They do not care at all of... More

Good ratio quality/price. Bungalows comfortable . Food correct. Good place to go for rest with sun and good temperature during the hard winter in Europe. Quite place kideal for rest and reading. We were there with friends and appreciate the week we spent there.

The hotel is not on the island Djerba as we thought but on the main land wich is far a way from big cities so there is absolutely NOTHING to see or do out there :( The few shops near by are very expensive (exp. a Nivea sun creme 24$) The food looks OK but tastes like paper and it´s... More

This hotel is not used to walk in guests. This is a place where people book for 1 or more weeks and don't leave the premisses. All guests have to join the all in status and thus you have to make use of the buffet which is, like all buffets, a bit disappointing. The rooms on the other hand made... More
