This is a nice hotel to stay at it is in a good location especially for the beach.The town centre is only a 15 minute walk.It has a great rooftop pool and lovely spacious gardens.It was refreshing not to be surrounded by loud drunken brits.The hotel is great for a relaxing holiday.Basic french would be a good advantage. more

We booked the hotel with Otbeach.com. We were a family of 8 booked 3 rooms. When we got there, no one was there to help with carrying our luggage so we had to carry them ourselves. We spent one week at Residence la Paix, Hammamet, and although it was a bit off season it was a lovely place to be! The hotel is clean and nice - rooms (more like studios, really) are large and roomy and we had a great view over the hotel garden. We have just returned from a 2 week stay self catering at the LA Paix the complex was quite reasonable condition however the air conditioning was contiually breaking down, the apartments although very clean lacked in general maintainance cockroach investation is faily ripe, if you are English it is not advisable to go there as the langauges are Arabic French... more
