Alhambra is absolutely beautiful, you certainly get what you see. Me and my husband were more than impressed with the staff their hospitality as well as the appearence of the rooms. Though breakfasts have a more french based theme than english however the service was unbeatable. We were greeted by an enthusiastic porter who took our bags right to the... more

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Tunisia. He is Tunisian, and we go at least once per year. We're thinking about buying property on the coast, so we explored Sousse, Monastir and Hammamet, along with Tunis. First, I'll remind readers that Tunisia has it's own star rating system. I rarely agree, but in this case, I... more

We have just got back from a very pleasant 5 night stay and we would go back here again. Overall on the downside the staff are a little “grumpy”, the food is only OK and the general hotel is more like a 3 or 4 star rather than a plush 5 star but it has many good points to counter... more

If you are looking for a nice 4-star hotel to chill out then this is the place. Beautiful interior, nice rooms (go for the suite – the pool view balcony is worth it) Staff are very attentive and friendly, especially if you look after them with a small tip now and again. Lovely chilled out bar for a night cap.... more

We booked a double room with balcony at this five star hotel through our travel agent. The hotel is built to represent a Moorish palace and although all the public areas are very spacious and well presented, lots of marble and beautiful ceilings, our bedroom was not as nice as I expected. We wanted a nice romantic getaway at a... more

We went to Alhambra in Yasmine Hammamet in Tunisia in mid September of this year for one week. We went for sun and sea and on that score we weren't disappointed. The weather was outstanding, it was hot and sunny but not too humid and at times there was also a nice light breeze. As for the AlHambra hotel itself,... more

Just came back from the Al Hambra full of praise and recommending it to everyone we know. I went with my boyfriend last week and have nothing bad to say about the place. We had been warned that 5 Stars in Tunisia = 4 Stars elsewhere; this is NOT the case. It well deserves the 5 Stars it was awarded.... more

Me and my husband traveled to Hammamet last September and we were looking forward to know a different culture. We chose Maritim Alhambra because it seemed really nice, and we wanted to stay in a 5 star (some friends who were in hammamet before told me that we should stay in a 5 stars). We arrived after midnight and we... more

We spent one week at the Alhambra in Hammamet which was more than enough......the saving grace was the weather was 50/50 so on the days we had beautiful sun and blue skies we made the most of it and sunned ourselves in the lovely pool (heated too)....here are my gripes:- HOTEL SERVICE- a 2 star in Europe would have better... more

We had a last minute change to this Hotel as our original hotel had building works next door. We arrived in the early hours and were offered cold meats and cheese etc. in our room which we declined as we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. Over all service was excellent especially in the restaurant (Tarek our waiter was... more
