On arrival to the Iberostar we were warmly welcomed, upgraded to sea view and a porter wheeled our luggage up to our room. Our room was fabulous, it was very much 5star and was really clean. We went all inclusive which was necessary in this location as there is no restaurants and also you need to be careful what you... More

The hotel was okay, as with everywhere there are always going to be little things wrong but there was nothing major for us. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food was nice and there was a good selection. The market nearby was nice but look around before you buy as the shops with no prices on the items... More

We stayed at the Iberostar Saphir Palace in May 2012, which was nice and hot but quite pleasant weather. You can cool off in the large pool or swim up bar. Sunbeds are always available and the towel attendant will bring you a sunbed cushion each which is much more comfortable to lie on; if he doesn't just pop and... More

We stayed one week at this hotel in Yasmine-Hammamet, and we are are satisfied. Breakfast and dinner were great, with lots of variety. Rooms were clean and spacious, the view from the terrace to the beach was great. The private beach of the hotel is just accross the street. However, mind a few things: the towels for the beach and... We were here in Easter and liked it so much we went back in August for a fortnight. At that time they said the hotel would close at the end of October for refurbishment and another hotel chain were taking it over. It is no longer in Thomas Cook book or any other ABTA brochure so why are people going... More

Maybe this hotel was a 5 star hotel 20 years ago but now it's not even worth 1 star! The facility is literally falling a part and is very dirty. As proof of it I took some pictures. (Unfortunately it's impossible to report the awful smell throughout the hotel, but believe me, nothing worse than that in my life and... More

Went here for a week at half term with my husband & 11 yr old daughter. Our room was nice and spacious, food was good but the hotel itself and the staff seemed tired. In 7 days we only had 2 nights of entertainment which was not brilliant. The best night was when the entertainments dressed up for Halloween, the... More

First time visitors to Tunisia. Generally area very tired and grubby but hotel very reasonable. Had room upgrade overlooking the sea. Food good. Room clean. Deposit required for pool towels. Shops and marine in easy walking distance. Would go back again. All inclusive 7 nights for less than a weekend in London. Airport had long queues in and out.

Booked a late Oct half term break with my 16yr old daughter. Was very disappointed by the standards of this hotel, this is not a 5*. I appreciate the star system varies country to country, which in its self is off putting to the consumer when wanting to book a higher end hotel! It was the end of the season... More
